If you're a smoker, or accustomed to living with smokers, then this is a great place. The house is beautiful and beautifully decorated, the proprietor is friendly, the breakfast is cooked to order and fantastic, and the price is amazing.
If you're at all sensitive to tobacco smoke, however, choose a different inn. My sinuses slammed shut as soon as I walked into the door, and all night long I lay in my bed and listened to my daughter's nose whistle. The little "No Smoking Please" sign in the Rose Room just added insult to injury.
