We spent three nights at the Pan Pacific Nirwana in late December. Upon arrival we were welcomed so graciously. A sweet drink and a cool cloth helped to shake off the mugginess of the drive out through the rice paddies to get to this spectacular sea cliff property. A flower was placed behind our ears and we were ready to be seen to our room.
The room was beautiful. Large and spacious and overlooking a view of the shore line and the golf course to the East. We had a lovely private garden lanai to lounge about on. The decor was fresh and white with mirrors and contemporary lines. A full mini bar, large sliding closets, safe, yukata, and slippers, The white marble bathroom had top shelf amenities, and full glass shower and tub for two, fat, clean towels and a retractable drying line.
Our room would have been perfect for a family because what I thought was a giant walk-in closet opened up to reveal the most charming bunk beds and little bean bag chairs and a playful hat rack and tea table with hand painted chairs. Puffy comforters like clouds covered all of the beds and generous pillows of every gauge would have satisfied Goldilocks. I admit I wanted to move in because the bed was so comfortable! A large flat screen TV had every service imaginable as well as a Wii including hand sets. And this was just the room.
The large property which my husband told me posses the best Course he has ever golfed on, is replete with a magnificent series of swimming pools, long crazy covered water slides, and Jacuzzi, and a series of restaurants ranging from fine dining, cafe, poolside restaurant, and upstairs bar. The food and service was wonderful in each as we had the opportunity to sample. This Hotel has quickly become a favorite and we have even decided to look into the condos on the property.
The real beauty of this property though is its proximity to the Pura Tanah Lot. The ship-like Temple on the sea that is a pilgrimage for so many practitioners of Hinduism and those that just want to visit. I have been to the temple on several trips to Bali and each time I was amazed by the beauty of this place. The sunsets behind the temple are not to be missed.
