“January 2012”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Just stayed at Adi Assri for three days (wife and two daughters in two rooms). Very nice property, two excellent pools and beautiful grounds. We had a garden view room which I thought was perfectly adequate - no comfortable chairs for sitting outside the room though.
I would have some reservations about the two restaurants on the property - the staff there were very good but he food didn't quite meet the standards of the rest of the hotel. There are a couple of decent Warung nearby, also the Frangipani restaurant (which will send a car for you) and a very decent coffee shop a five minute walk away (west).
Great beach walking and a nice sea view - would definitely stay again.

“Nice stay at West of Bali”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We just back from our long trip to the west Bali and spend a night at Adi Assri Cottages for relaxing before we back on long trip back to the village. Since beginning the staff were friendly to us and offer us to upgrade into deluxe while the standard room are already fully booked.

Good hotel location with clean room and open bathroom. The only thing were disturb us is the mosquito still come in into the room whether already put mosquito repellant outside the room. the mosquito net help us more with this. Great breakfast and relaxing hide out.

Definitely will back to Adi Assri when go to Pemuteran again. Once of the recommended place in Pemuteran for stay.

Room Tip: Room on the right side are nicer with garden and beach view

“Nice setting, but....”

Beautiful gardens with mountain views and sea front. A few issues including: breakfast bacon delivery arrives after lunch, advertised free wi-fi is not free, location is slightly east of other hotels/beachside restaurants, too much rain can cause septic to flood and hence become smelly (request to change room was happily accommodated), safe is not safe at all due to method of fixing safe to plywood cupboard with nuts and bolts (nothing stolen though).

“Great room, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We stayed in what we considered to be the best room in the best location in Adi Assri - in front of the smaller of the 2 pools with a view through the gardens and pool to the sea - it was a deluxe sea view room - no 15.
A really comfortable bed, large light filled room (windows on 3 sides), comfortable lounges on the deck - v pleasant to hang around in. All staff very friendly and obliging. Thoroughly cleaned every day - even the woodwork was polished daily.
Pools large and v clean and beautifully located.
Outside bathroom - large, functional and clean - but not especially glam or well designed for rainy or hot sunny days. For those of you who read in bed the lamps are romantic rather than 'read by' lights - but the local shop has higher wattage globes.
A bit of a walk past local villages and boats to other resorts and restaurants. But Frangipani and Taman Sari would collect us and drive us back - particularly useful at night when navigating the boat ropes or the traffic of the road make walking more difficult. But Amertha's v good restaurant close enough for evening walks.
Adi Assri's meals not the best - but breakfasts fine and particularly good when fewer guests and therefore a la carte versus buffet.
If the resort could be moved closer to the others we would happily stay there every visit. As it was we had nine great days there and then 5 days with friends in an Amertha villa - see separate review.
Two weeks in Pemuteran went by very fast and we returned completely relaxed and chilled out. Looking forward to another visit to Pemuteran next year.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

Spent 2 nights at Adi Assri while on a Dive Safari with AquaMarine. Its located in a beautiful area - monkey temple is not too far away. The rooms were very roomy and clean. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I arrive very late from a night dive and viewed the stars while taking a shower. Service and attention to requests were top notch. All staff were friendly. The AC in the room was leaking water into the room - they were in the room correcting the problem within 10 minutes. The food at the restaurants was very good - nice varied selection and priced just right. I had my dive trip booked through AquaMarine but I was thirsty for as many dives I could get in. I had a few hours free one evening so I managed one night dive with the on-site dive shop - great dive spots right off the resort. Ask to go to the junkyard dive site.
It was great to be able to job in the morning and run through the nearby villages.
