We had made reservations here based on what we had read online. When we arrived (family of three) the front counter was totally rude and then the gentleman who was to show us the rooms was completely dismissive. He took us to three different options, each worse than the previous. The room were shabby, the walls needed painting, overall a very poor showing. There is another property just down the street call Sri Ratu that has much nicer rooms, much better staff and is less expensive! They are harder to find online but I am sure that there are other places that actually want your business and have pride in their accommodations. Stay away from Three Brothers!!!

This could be a gem of a place. The location is good (although it is a fair walk to the beach), the rooms are spread out through a lovely garden area, the pool is large and in a nice setting and you have the choice of a variety of room styles (fan, AC, family units, double or twin rooms etc). However, often the basics do not work or need fixing eg. the toilet won't flush, the AC is noisy or doesn't work, the tiles on the floor are cracked etc. Room cleaning can be hit or miss depending on which cleaner you have and to get anything rectified is EXTREMELY difficult. The guys at the front desk are very laid back and have a 'take it as it is' attitude. ALWAYS do a detailed check of your room before you pay for it!

Not so bad for Bali

I have stayed in many places over 20+ years of visits to Bali and I have to say that Three Brothers is always a dependable place. Many of their rooms are remodeled. So, be sure to ask for them. The price hasn't seemed to ever change. It's cheap. Great pool. Get their black rice pudding for breakfast. Wayan Urip is a driver that hangs out there by the restaurant. He is trustworthy as a driver and speaks good English.
