Kokonut suites is totally beyond my expectation..the suite was spacious, got quite well-equipped kitchen and living room was nice and cozy too. Rooms were also clean and comfy.
Breakfast was okay despite lack of varieties, tends to get bored easily if you book here more than a week, but the jamu corner was quite a brilliant idea.
Location was great, nice and quiet surrounding, quite far from the beach but it was okay since we rent a car in bali.
Overall, i highly recommend kokonut suites for the their great value and warm local hospitality, and would definitely come back and try the one bedroom suite with private pool on our next visit.

i found Kokonut Suites from website for my last weekend short trip to Bali..
I stayed here for 2 nights before we moved to Ubud and i found this suite was nice and fit to me as i need more sleeps in a good bed, a good location.

Suite was spacious, complete with kitchen stuff like microwave, refrigerator, and also got surprise for last was chocolate...

Clean, quite, with fast wifi, and good massage was my agenda for this trip and i got it from Kokonut Suites, with empty (most of the time) pools in the morning made me enjoyed the whole pool hehehehe

Located in a famous street with nice resto like Metis, etc...

Breakfast was ok, but i fell in love with JAMU corner so i can take Jamu every morning, love the idea

I will come back here if i visit Bali soon and want to book 1 bedroom suite with private pool

We stay at Kokonut Suites for a week and were treated to a wonderful holiday. The rooms all have a kitchen and separate lounge and are beautifully decorated with all you could need. The pool and spa area is also great.
Our breakfast was included and was of a high standard and offered good variety.
The highlight for us was the exceptional service of the the management and staff especially the drivers Yayat and Gede who were excellent guides as well as good company on our very low cost excursions.
Our stay at Kokonut Suites was one of the best parts of our 4 week trip to Bali.

Kokonut suites certainly looked very impressive on their web-site but in person they weren't as fabulous.
First of all they are located pretty far from the beach. I was under the impression that it is 10 min away but it took us 30 min to walk to the beach. Walking around Seminyak area is not easy either as footpath is virtually non-existent in some area and even if it is present it is normally completely overtaken by cars and scooters. Not to mention you get hassled by taxis and cars every 10 meters. However there are plenty of nice restaurants around that area. And it was away from busy area therefore much quieter.

The rooms were quite spacious and fairly modern, however a lot of fittings despite looking nice and being fairly new were bad quality and already started to show a lot of wear and tear. The rooms were tidy but not perfectly clean, more attention needed to kitchen bench top and appliances plus the couch hasn't been vacuumed for a long time and couch seats and cushions had funky smell. Aircon filters needed a good clean and/or replacement. Shower was very hard to adjust and it took ages for hot water to go through.

Pool area was nice but very basic. It had few sun lounges but during peak times they were all taken. Pool itself wasn't very big but water was clean and warm. Spa was very nice and I highly recommend getting body scrub and massage there! It had very nice decor and relaxing atmosphere. Girls who were working there were quite good and nice too!

Breakfast was pretty standard but we got really bored with selection after just couple of days. Suka-suka restaurant was nice and very reasonably priced plus hotels guests get 15% discount there (at least they did when we stayed there). I was able to get Wi-Fi on my mobile but the connection was really slow and it stopped working from time to time. Shuttle service was good but sometimes you had to arrange it far in advance and they don't usually do pick-ups.

We stayed there for 7 nights but wished we stayed there for just 3 and somewhere else for 4. We were getting pretty bored by the end of our stay. I think it is a good place to stay if you are going to spend most of your time in hotel and want surrounding area to be nice and quite (two surrounding blocks of land were two small rice fields which was nice)
