As the name suggests,this hotel was really a palace and now has been converted into a hotel as well a restaurant. Try visiting this place in the night. the six hundred meter drive is quite thrilling as if you are entering a forest or so. Once you reach here, no problems here after. The check in quite smooth and the service is very good. On the top Food is the best here. One can get the best food available in Kota.
the rooms are quite big, actually the King style types. The exterior of the hotel does need a maintenance, rest all is quite good.

We had organized our retaler meet in the hotel & it was a crazy hot afternoon. After having travelled by road from Jaipur we were exhausted. we retired into one of the room in the ground floor & were only left wondering after looking at the space in the room; they were grandiose and only inspired awe. The display of the Tiger hides adorning the wall was simply amazing; it was a good choice to stay in this place to get the feeling of yore

I went there for an official tour in Feb. 2011 and it was a 3 night stay. Well as soon as we entered it reminded us of royal lifestyle the Kings use to have. Truely kingsize bedrooms with all modern amenities. Food is costly but delicious and they offer a lot of variety to choose from. Best thing is the peaceful environment and ancient architecture.

I thought this place will be badly maintained assuming that Kota is not a tourist place. The place was much better maintained and had nice restaurant and bar.

The rooms were spacious and a lot of history has been maintained there.

Kota has options of many modern hotels but staying at this one will be a good experience. We enjoyed our two day stay here.
