A nice and reasonable place to hang out with a bunch of friends for a weekend! Provides the comfort of home. Quite peaceful and pretty as well. I went with 8 other friends in January. The place I'm hoping will be far better in monsoons.

Had been to this resort in 2009 (long time back). However thought of writing a review about my experiences there.
To begin with this place is really very far from the city. There is no scenic beauty in the background. It doesn't feel like coming to a hill station at all. My trip there was a total waste of money, i feel i could have enjoyed better in the city instead of going all the way to Lonavala. Being an avid traveler , this place is definitely very low in my travel chart.
The rooms are clean and neat so is the bathroom.
The food is average.
There isn't much to do around, as I said the place is very far from the city limits.
I thoroughly felt it was a waste of time and money. I don't think i will visit this place again. Also I think Lonavala is too commercialized nowadays and doesn't feel like a hill station at all. It is as good as staying in the city amidst the concrete jungle. Staying at Khandala or Tungarli is a slightly better option.

We just returned back from Basilica Holiday Homes earlier this weekend and we had a great time there. We were a group of 9 adults and 2 kids and had hired a 4 BHK bungalow and it was spacious enough to house all of us with ease. The resort is a little away from the main Lonavla streets, however; there is enough boards assistance to reach the place.
The bungalow was well built in a duplex fashion with 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. The rooms were spacious, clean and amazingly big especially the master bedrooms on the upper floor. The toilets were clean too.
This place has other facilities like a swimming pool which was clean, table tennis, pool table etc.
The food is alright, though I may say that the non-veg preparations were average. Overall I would say it is about ok.
We had a good weekend stay here and hope to visit again some time in the future.

I liked the stay there only problem was with the size of the rooms they were so small otherwise food and location was good.City was around 1.5 kms from the hotel.Station was around 1 kms from the city.Overall its a good place to stay
