We were four people and visited in the second week of Jan. Chandralok did not have two rooms, so they fixed us up in a nearby Bungalow at Mahindra Homestays. It was a bit far away, certainly not walking distance. It was in a residential area, but a good one. It was very spacious. The bedrooms were large as well. There was an equiped kitchen. The staff was polite. The place was average clean. The sheets and pillows did not look used but they were not spotlessly clean either. The breakfast was not a buffet. The food was ok. But they did not allow us to order a second time, even though we were ordering a substantial quantity. The bungalow price was bargainable. The good things were space, lack of any noise at all, and food. The downpoints were the location and road, and services. But the staff seemed helping. Overall a good place to stay. And certainly value for money.

We visited Lonavala yesterday[22nd December,2011] and had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Chandralok.We booked the date through Cleartrip.com.
The room was extremely clean and beautiful.I cannot say much about the room service as we had ordered only a cup of coffee and got it served immediately.
The construction work going on near the hotel was a thing to worry as it produced terribly loud noise.But we had to bear it for hardly 2 hours.So this cant be considered as a mark down for the hotel as it didnt made any difference to us.Hotel is near to the market, station.
Reception guys, staff are extremely friendly.
Overall we loved the hotel and had a memorable stay.
Would rate it 9 on 10.

I stayed in Chandralok for a day in December 2011 and had a very good experience. Rooms are clean and service is good. I would prefer to stay in chandralok for my next trip to lonavala!

Good hotel with excellent food.. good and clean rooms... situated at very good locations.. few minutes away from main market as well from railway station... but room service is terible... one staff to help on each floor, which slow down the serviceability..
