We had a awesome time visiting Allepey backwaters. The houseboat trip was our main attraction of the trip. I did some research and finalized on Season's cruise. One of the main reason being, I had read some reviews here with other travelers mentioning that the Houseboat is same as the picture they have put on their site. I do agree on that 100%. We started the journey with little apprehension if all our expectations will be met or will we be taken for a ride. After meeting Joffy our fears vanished as he took care of the trip very well. When we arrived on our houseboat (was a classic styled) it was like a dream come true, with very nice interior, a very capable and attentive crew, and our 1 day journey in floating house began. We booked for 1 day full stay. The boat was 2 storied, with a sitting area in the front with dining, the bedroom was nice and windy (we opted for non-AC), the upper deck had 2 sitting areas, one in the front with 2 lounging chairs and one in the back side. The meals were very simple, traditional but very tasty. They do take special requests if you want to eat any particular sea food. We immensely enjoyed our trip, the whole day just soaking in the beauty of nature around us. I couldn't have asked for a better houseboat. We got what we had thought and more. The crew were very able, experienced and nice. When the time came to end our trip, we left with so many happy memories and beautiful visions in our mind. Though the trip ended but I want to come back again and again. Thanks Joffy and the crew for their hospitality, we appreciate their efforts.
