I stayed at the Biltmore for 3 nights for my niece's wedding held across the street. This is an historic building with each room decorated with period reproductions. Surprisingly, pets are welcome with no additional charge. There is free internet, an exercise room, continental breakfast (wonderful pastries and granola from a bakery around the corner), newspaper delivered to your door each morning, evening wine and cheese tasting and a friendly, courteous and accommodating staff. It is centrally located with shopping and restaurants close by. The only negatives would be the street noise if your room faces the street and no luggage carts to help with luggage (though staff offered to help).
