“Completely Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 March 2010

This is my 2nd business trip of the month to this Wyndham. I will say that the next hotel I stay in won't be the Wyndham.
The only positive about my stay here was Ryan at the front desk. He was helpful, friendly, and he called me by my first name all the time. He gave me my choice of floor or room this time because the last time I was on the first floor facing the freeway and it was very loud. This time, I was on the 3rd floor and faced the back. Very quiet.
Each day there was something negative that made my stay a very unfortunate one. Monday - woke up to take my shower and there was no hot water. Hot water was restored by the time I got out of my business meeting (around 5pm). Tuesday - the wireless internet was down throughout the hotel. It was restored late that night. Wednesday - water in the shower was barely warm. When I returned from my business meeting, the key to my room did not work. I went to the front desk for a new one and the replacement didn't work. I had to return to the front desk a total of 4 times before I got a key that worked. Only on my 4th trip did the front desk agent offer to go with me to see if it was a door issue. I was on the 3rd floor, so going up and down 4 times was not something I enjoyed. Thursday - as I was shaving in the bathroom sink, I had the faucet running, and within a minute I looked down to see that my sink water had turned completely brown. Friday - I have had the water running for 20 minutes and there is not hot water at all. I am typing this as I wait for the water to warm up, but as of yet, it has not.
I am very disappointed, and I rarely leave bad remarks or complain. I did notify the front desk each time I had an issue, and they said it would be resolved eventually, but to have an incident each day is a little unacceptable.

“Superb hospitality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2010

It's clean and quiet, but not luxurious. However, talk about warm, personal service! Complimentary shuttle from airport, free shuttle to shopping, free internet, and staff that couldn't do enough for us.
We'll have great memories of this place, and hope to be back!

“Broken down and Nasty Hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2009

Beware of this hotel!!! We had to change our room 3 times and ALL of the rooms were gross and broken down.
On arrival I saw the hotel was pretty empty. Being I booked on HOTWIRE they still send me to a room at the very back of the hotel. This rooms was Room 256. I walked in and the smell was so nasty I had to leave. We were then given Room 156. Still at the very back of the hotel just on the first floor. We had to leave this room because the ac was broken there was ice blocking the vents so no cold air could get out. We then had to pack up everything and move to Room 154 which had black mold in the caulking in the bathroom. As I showered in this room I was standing in 3in of water that backed up.
There were HUGE spiders everywhere!! My boys made a game out of killing them all night long. The peep hole in this room was also broken so we could never tell who was knocking on our door. Such an awful stay!!

“Hotel itself lacks quality, staff barely cared!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2009

This hotel is deplorable! Upon check-in, I was told I'd be upgraded because of my frequent stay points. Sure, I was upgraded...to a dirty "suite"!! The room itself looked like two rooms that were connecting before renovations into a "suite". I walked into the first bedroom and turned on the TV. 8 channels on the cable!!! Into the second room and I was greeted by an ugly sofa and no curtains! What poorly thought out suite! Maybe the rest of their rooms are up to the great Wyndham standards I have come to expect but this was no upgrade, more like an unprepared one nighter that was very poorly aggravated by both the management (booked on expedia and of got my credit card double charged and didn't hear from management for now over 30 days) and the facilities themselves. Having traveled for years in IHG/Choice/Wyndham/Marriot properties, I wouldn't recommend this Wyndham. After all, there's a new holiday inn express a block down I'll be going with the next trip I take down to Myrtle Beach, SC.

“Great Stay with Great People”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2009

Wyndham Garden is a great hotel to stay at. They have a FREE shuttle to and from the airport which was helpful. I did not rent a car when I went to Greensboro but I did get around thanks to the Wyndham staff. I was not stuck in the hotel. They drove me to a steak house and picked me up. Then at night I wanted to go and work out and I asked about a work out room they said they can give me a shuttle ride to Gold's Gym with FREE memebership. Great place with great people the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. They spoke to me each time they saw me which made me feel welcomed and wanted. The rooms are great beds are so comfortable I fell straight to sleep soon as I laid my head down. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who has a family or even traveling by their self.
