stayed at this place for 2 nights. our party had 3 rooms. we were in Greensboro for the Distinguished Young Woman state competition this past weekend.
easy , courteous check in. rooms were clean with very comfortable beds.
most important for us --we needed space for an after event party saturday evening to accomodate 40 people. all the meeting rooms were booked by groups from various counties.
our initial plan was to have the party in our room. that would have left us cramped in a small space. my wife approached management and they very graciously offered us the breakfast area to hold our evening party. not only that ---the staff even helped us set up the food and beverages for the party. helped us clean up and store in their fridge leftovers.
in these days of mostly surly, mediocre service , we were very impressed with the efficiency and "can do" attitude the staff exhibited.
we are sold on the Hyatt Place brand! have signed up for their frequent customer programme and will actively search for this no-fuss brand whenever we travel.

Stayed for 2 nights. The ice machine was working overtime. This is a party hotel. Not a great place for business people. Why ? Most of the guests look like they don't have a job. The doors close with an earth shattering slam. The in room furniture had stains, and the woodwork was roughed up.
Very comfortable beds and the staff were really nice. Helpful as well. The hotel was too gangsta so my co-workers and I moved on.

Reserved a room here on the last leg of a road trip based on a very good experience at a Hyatt Place in Birmingham, AL. No comparison. This is a dirty and old remodel. It is located next to an off-ramp of I-40. Expect to hear trucks tires drumming on an elevated surface all night long. Bed was worn and sagging, bathroom dirty, stains on all surfaces and bed spread, cigarette smell, heavy condensation on the windows, unfriendly service. Should have left, but too tired.

We had dinner at Tripps restaurant up the road and noticed a Courtyard by Marriott next door. It had a full house. Better location at least.

There were very few people staying here, lots of people hanging out. Would not recommend.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The room was new, pleasant, large, and well designed. The service was fantastic and free breakfast superb. You couldn't go wrong here.
