“Was Ok for a One Night Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

This seemed to be a typical Days Inn. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and a microwave. The TV was an older model, but was fine and there were plenty of channels. The bath room was small and the wall paper was peeling, but the water was hot and there was a good shower head. We had two double beds, but the problem was the beds were old and not very comfortable. Also the the blankets were not real blankets, but remnants and the pillows were all shredded foam which are very lumpy. The free breakfast was limited, but was ok.

“cute little place and convenient”

This motel is really close to other larger hotels and places to eat. Within easy driving distance to the coliseum. I made a quick trip to Greensboro for a concert and needed somewhere to stay. The room was clean and had what I needed and since it's a motel I could park in front of the door - a big plus on a rainy, cold night when I needed to come back to a hot shower.

“CLOSE IT!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2010

My family and I just got back from this hotel. We stayed there because we were in town for A&T Homecoming 2010. OKAY>>>whe get to our "first" room, which was suppose to be non smoking. When my husband opened the door, it smelled like a smoker's club had a meeting in it. That was just the beginning, but not the worst part. The bathroom towel rach had been pulled out the wall on one side and just left hanging there. The bed had burn holes on the spreadf and then...there were dried up "white spots" all over the floor and the chair to the desk. That chair also had "spill" spots in the seat. Looks like someone just peed...or whatever...right there in it. The chairs to the table looked as if a dog maukled it and they were tore all up. The carpet...OMG! It was balled up in the corner like the didn't feel like attaching it to the floor. so the put STAPLES in it to keep it against the wall!. We got the mgr and he at first that he wasn't gona do anything about it. When we decided to go elsewhere, he upgraded our room...to something that was better, and worse in it's own way. The second room smelled fine and looked a bit better...till I went into the bathroom and saw how the toilet was up from the floor and looked like dried peed was all around it. It had 2 microwaves...because the mgr said that he couldnt find the key to it and decided to just leave it there, but added another one that sat on the desk. The mini fridge came equipped with frood from the previous visitor! WE settled because we had no othr choice for hotels due to Homecoming weekend and everything was booked, plus we had other family staying there..who had problems also. On top of being unhappy with the room, we needed more towles and the mgr said that he wasn't going to give us any til the next morning...he didn't know where the key was and whoever had it wasn't there. WE had to go BUY bathcloths and towels! I encourage ALL people to stay away from there.

“Wouldn't stay here again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2008

Housekeeping kept room clean and orderly. However, the air conditioner cover was left half off (my husband fixed it). Refrigerator/freezer had so much ice-buildup that the freezer door wouldn't close. There was a coffee maker but no carafe to make coffee. The vending machines were empty. All of these items make for a negative first impression.

“Nice Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2007

Me and my son stayed at this hotel for one night. The desk clerk let us check in early and was very kind. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The sheets were crisp and the pillows were plump. I was not impressed with the channel selection (only twelve channels), but most motels don't have a big selection. The pool was closed, so I can't comment on that. Continental breakfast is offered in a small room just off the lobby. It consisted of danish's, cinnamon rolls, mini-muffins, toast, cereal, juice & coffee. The hotel is easy to find and is located in a very "commercial" area with malls, shopping centers, and dozens of restaurants and other hotels. All in all this was a great stay for the price.

  • Liked — great value
  • Disliked — Nothing, but if anyone is concerned, there is no elevator here.
