When we checked in the hotel the people at the front desk were a pleasure. They made sure we had everything we needed. The housekeepers were as friendly as could be, the room was clean, smelled good and had clean lenin on the beds.
If you want southern hospitality this is the place to go! You people did a good thing when you replaced the manager, This one honestly cares about people... I think all of the staff do. Keep up all the good work.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. First of all when entering the lobby we were greeted with a pleasant staff. The room we were in was great. The balcony and views were awesome. I will diffently stay here again. Thanks to the staff who are awesome.

Made reservations 8 mo. in advance for two rooms for my husband and I, my brother and his wife going down for the car show. Got there to our adjoining rooms and when we went in - someone else was already there. When I made the reservations I asked for a handicapped room for my brother. When we got there we were told they do not have handicapped rooms but do have a ramp up to the 2nd floor. The room my husband and I had was AWFUL, there was mold growing all around the bottom of the dresser, the phone didn't work, nor did the air conditioner, microvave or fridge. They came and cleaned and brought an old air conditioner that was so loud we had to turn it off at night so we could sleep and then it was miserabily hot. They did finally fix the fridge and microwave after we had driven all morning and had to wait 2 hours to get our room cleaned. The next evening the maid hadn't come so I called and asked for clean towels. I was told to come and get them. In the meantime, my handicapped brother and his wife were put in a room on the 1st floor. They had no phone service and no remote and the floor was so sticky they couldn't walk on it. They were finally moved to yet another room where it was just a tad better, except when my brother woke up at 6:30 the next morning and wanted coffee he found there was none. He called front desk and asked for coffee and was told to come and get it. Other guest we talked to had similar reports. One couple turned their bed down and found nasty sheets that had been slept on ect. Yet another couple found their bed not changed from the previous guest. I think the CEO of Family Inns should go on the TV show "Undercover Boss" and check out these hotels in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He would be horrified. Earlier in the summer we took the grandchildren down there and stayed at a Family Inn just across the street. The room was fair, but the lobby was filthy. I mean filthy. My family will NEVER stay at a Family Inn again. Does the company just not care for their guest anymore. Since there is no refund policy, I guess they get your money and after that it's just too bad if you don't like it. Oh yes, while we were there at 3144 PKWY the police were called to the Lobby twice because of disgruntled guest complaining. WOW! I would be embarrassed if it were my business. But do they care??? NO!!!

Protect yourself and your family. DON'T STAY HERE! Someone went into our room while we were out and took our debit card and got $300.00 from it at the Tramway Mall ATM. We had to make a police report. General Managment "Mary" did not care or want to help, in fact she even made a comment directing she felt we made everything up. I guess it would take a classy lady to preform a classy act though. Besides all of this, the rooms, can be summed up in one word.... "NASTY" and the breakfast consisted of Debbie Cakes. If you stay here someone will probably snoop in your stuff or even come in on you while you are alseep. Use the money that will be stole from you and stay at the Bearskin Lodge or somewhere you won't be violated.
