Terrible breakfast. Alot of very loud traffic outside. Tiny bathroom you can barely squeeze into. bad service. Yuck. Cheap coffee on breakfast. Took breakfast stuff up 5 mins. early. There are too many other good hotels in Gburg to stay here.

We spent one night there. It is located at the very end (toward Pigeon Forge) of the strip of hotels in Gatlinburg. Good parking, beautiful location on the river. We walked into the heart of town with no problem. Regarding the accomodations, just know that it's pretty old. No complaints, but don't expect anything updated (tv, updated bath, etc.). It does have internet access, though, and a fairly good free breakfast. For our needs (just sleeping), it was fine. However, if you're looking for modern and central location, you might want to keep looking.

Room was clean, but the noise all night from the road outside the door was unbearable and we could not sleep (and we are not light sleepers). Convenient store across the street did not help much either with noise all night long. Should have known something was wrong when we pulled up and there were no cars in parking lot. Had to check out and find somewhere else so we could sleep. Will never stay here again!

Stayed two nights to do some late fall hiking in the Smoky's. A room with a view and a fireplace sounded nice since it was a crisp autumn weekend. The fireplace worked and was a nice feature. Rooms have a balcony overlooking a stream and a view of the hillside behind which is nice. Our room also had a fridge and a microwave which is a plus for multiple night stays. The carpeting appeared old and stained but our room was clean. However, the facility sits right on the main road leading from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge and the traffic noise is very very loud throughout. In addition, the bathroom is very tiny, probably to accommodate the entrance to and from the balcony. The television is very old school as is the remote which is a far cry from even the most basic flat screens that most motels offer today. Overall I'd rate this a little less than average depending on the rate. It is definitely a $70-$80 a night stay. Paying anything more will disappoint most folks.
