“After having car vandelized and having a firecracker thrown at us we will not be staying here again!”

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. We chose to stay here because it was close to all the little shops in town and could walk to everything. Plus we have a dog who always travels with us so that makes finding a pet friendly place a little tricky. This hotel looks run down and the hallways smell musty. The sides of the building are covered with mold and algae. But besides that it has a nice big pool that was clean. Our room outdated but it wasn't filthy like others have mentioned. We must have gotten lucky to get a "clean" room during our stay. The wireless internet worked fine and gave us no trouble. Around the 3rd morning of our stay my father came into our room after taking the dog outside to do his business and was in a rage. Someone had thrown ranch all down the side of our car. Just an hour earlier he had been down at the car to get something and it was fine. Some person(s) must have gotten the ranch from the restaurant right on the premises , not far from our car. He immediately went to the front desk. They said have no cameras in the parking lot. She was very nice about the situation and at least seemed like she cared. My father then went to the restaurant and the guy he talked to said no ranch dressing is even given during breakfast hours. Ugh. Since the hotel has numerous ways of getting in, it could have been anyone cutting through the parking lot and not a guest. But this isn't all. The next morning me and my father were beginning to load up the car and someone had thrown a FIRECRACKER at us! It scared the crap out of me. I was so angry! I looked all around and the only place it could have came from was from the balcony above. Some man was peeking out his window and I suspected it was him. We yelled for whoever it was to appear but of course they didn't. As we walked back in the get the rest of the luggage we saw remnants of the small firecracker in front of the door leading in to the indoor pool. We again told the front desk about it but of course nothing was done and they didn't even deduct money off the stay. This was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. We will NEVER stay at the Four Seasons AGAIN!

“Just ok. GREAT location. Walking distance to everything.”

We stayed here one night. Upgraded to a jacuzzi/fireplace room. It was a really big room. Everything in the room was old & outdated. Curtains hanging halfway on the rod. Really old 70's style red carpet. Some stains on the walls & a musty smell, it was a smoking room. But it WAS clean & the bed was comfy. The fireplace made it worth it. Really nice on a cold & rainy day. Walking distance to everything, Pancake Pantry (awesome), the Aquarium, Hard Rock, etc. Paid $150 which is more than it's worth but we had a pet & not many options. For the same price you can prob find better, but overall it really was ok for one night. If they updated it, it could be great.

“disappointed”

We stayed for the first time at Four Seasons Lodge in Gatlinburg and probably our last. We have been going to Gatlinburg for many years and love to stay downtown within walking distance to everything. We thought our room was more convenient but little did we know they would send us to a room in the back, not very close to the streets, to our disappointment. We paid extra for a fireplace, for we hope would be a very relaxing and romantic evening. Not. the fireplace didnt work, the comfortor on the bed looked dirty and even dusty, the carpets were dusty, the sliding glass door was dirty. There was an envelope on the table to give extra for our maid service, you got to be kidding. My husband told the people at the front desk that the fireplace didnt work and they never offered to reimburse our money. We laid in bed that night wondering why we were paying over 100.00 for that room. We would have been more relaxed a home. Very bad choice.
Everyone we know that go to Pigeon Forge and gatlinburg, tell us they always stay in Pigeon Forge, we have always stayed in Gatlinburg, but not anymore. This little town in getting so run down, they are doing nothing to make it more attractive, the motel rooms are getting run downed. The nicest place we have stayed before is Olde Gatlinburg Place, recommend it very highly. Wish we would have stayed there this past weekend.

“This place is the worst dump I've ever slept in, never again.”

First off, the guy/gal who says this place isn't dirty..I'd hate to see your house. It was filthy.
The carpet was so dirty I didn't take my socks off. It wasn't even swept before we checked in. The screen was all torn up. The closet (that didn't have any hangers in it) door didn't work. The tile was broken in the bathroom. The drywall in the bathroom was peeling. I was honestly afraid to sit on the chairs or stand in the shower. Gross is the word I would use to describe this hotel. The internet does not work and the staff was rude. Spend your hard earned money somwhere that appreciates their guests.

“Flea infested rooms do not stay room 237”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2010

I took my husband for his birthday. I had stayed here in previous years and now it seems run down. When we took our little dog and went in room 237 the fleas jumped all over our legs. We pulled about 10off each we called the desk and they said we will call you back. We grabbed our dog and ran out the door. By the time we got to front desk my little dog was covered in fleas. I pulled the fleas off me stuck them in toilet paper and laid them on the front desk. They said we can put you in nice room in main part of hotel. So that means I got the bad part. We drove 6 hours due to traffic and it was 7:30 Nashville time. I wanted to just go home and shower. I wanted to give dog a bath. We left and got home almost midnight and gave Molly a bath. She was covered in fleas. We had to give her another bath next day still more fleas. We have had to scrub our house. I am so thankful we did not take our luggage in. We have flea bites on our legs. Do Not Stay here. If you do go in check room 1st before allowing family or pets. Hotel did not offer to pay for our gas ect. Calling owners monday.
