I almost feel I shouldn't write how wonderful this place is for fear of it being sold out in the future. Iola & Hal are the most gracious of hosts. The grounds, the views, the feeling of complete serenity is like nothing you will ever feel anywhere else. We have three boys and there is always so much for them to do from the swing on the property to the lakes, trails, canoes and parks which are just minutes away. We have been fortunate enough to stay at Mouton for close to a dozen years off and on and there is no other place we would ever think of staying. (Especially waking up at the foot of the Tetons) Thank you both for creating such treasured memories for me and my family. See you next year...

On our recent trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone, we chose to stay in a variety of locations throughout our vacation. Of all the places we stayed, I cannot wait to return to Moulton Ranch Cabins. They were perfect.

The hosts were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They enjoyed talking to our kids about the animals and the mountains. They maintain the cabins and the property so well! I have no idea how they keep the cabins so clean. Our little cabin had a kitchen that made a quick breakfast and a sack lunch for hiking possible. The beds and bedding were comfortable and cozy. The heater kept us toasty on those cold nights.

We appreciated their location in the Grand Teton park but very close to Jackson with its activities and dining options. Looking out the window in the morning to see the mountains was spectacular. It was a great starting point for getting into the park for hiking and adventure. Our morning visitor was Stan, the bison. Right outside the window every morning. Thankfully on the other side of the fence! What a great way to wake up.

Looking forward to 2012, so we can plan another vacation here. Hopefully for a full week!

I recently stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay - the property has an interesting history (homesteaded by an ancestor of the owner who refused to sell his acre of land to the park), is meticuluosly maintained and provides a glorious view of the Tetons. The cabin was simple but comfortable. This place is a real gem!

If you are looking for a very quiet, peaceful stay right near the Moose Junction entrance to GTNP and within 20 minutes of Jackson, Wyoming, look no further. Historic, impeccably maintained cabins and grounds makes this the perfect place to wake up and come home to during your travels to Wyoming. The owners, Hal and Iola Blake, couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. Comfortable beds, cozy furnishings and peace and solitude at a generally affordable price given the area - you can't ask for more. Of course, watching buffalo out your window in the morning while watching the sun hit the Grand Tetons doesn't hurt, either. Forget staying in Jackson - stay here and you will not regret it. Promise. :)
