Just finished our 17th trip to Paradise, also known as the Gros Ventre River Ranch -- dear friends, great horses, fantastic wranglers and the food -- there are no words for the fabulous food. True Old West experience with all the amenities one needs to be comfortable and well cared-for. See you next year!

We have been coming to Gros Ventre River Ranch every September for 16 years. The staff is wonderful and very caring. The horses are great, as is the scenery. Fly fishing on private water can't be beat. And the food is fabulous!

We've stayed at the Gros Ventre (pronounced grow vahnt) River Ranch 15 times in the past 17 years and just love the place. We've spent time at four other dude ranches, one of them five times, but this is the best. Great riding program, excellent fly fishing right on the ranch (they provide a guide, if you want), terrific food, wonderful staff, managers and owners. The setting is stunning, with picture-book views of the Tetons and surrounding mountains. And if you want a day off the ranch, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park are both close, as well as the town of Jackson. We just got home from our most recent stay and pre-booked next year's visit when we checked out.

There is no more beautiful or relaxing place on earth than the Gros Ventre River Ranch. The scenery, which can be seen from anywhere on the property, is amazing. And the ranch owners create an astonishingly friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Just the right balance between rustic and pampering. There is no question that we will be back again.
