Rooms in the rear of the hotel are quiet, except for the trash truck that emptied a dumpster at 5:30am one morning. No doubt this woke everyone up! The breakfast wasn't too great either. Rubber eggs, overcooked sausage, no fresh fruit, cardboard pastries! Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large, clean and well cared for, the beds quite comfortable.

I have stayed at this hotel twice for work. I find the rooms comfortable, but, during my most recent stay, the staff seemed a little clueless. Maybe they were all new. They couldn't give us receipts at the end of our stay because they said the rooms were prepaid which was not true. I was able to have them fax me receipts later that week, but it just seemed like the woman didn't know what was going on. When I tried to print out my boarding pass on one of the computers, neither computer was working, and the staff didn't even know where to begin to solve the problem (try restarting the computer), but they did take the time to check me in for my flight at the front desk and printed my boarding passes. They also didn't have any fresh fruit with the breakfast buffet. I would probably stay here again, because comfort is the most important thing to me, but don't expect great service.

I tried again on the Tuesday 27th of September 2011. Since my return to England I have been on the Best Western website several times and I always get the same price. Between $50 and $90 a reasonable price for this Best Western Plus. So why on Tuesday 27th of September 2011 when I walked into the reception was the price for one nights stay $220?

Let me start by saying that I travel quite often and have stayed at Best Western hotels many times before without issue. I was traveling with my family on vacation in October of 2011. When we arrived it took almost an hour before they could check us in. The manager wasn't available and the staff seemed clueless in how to check people in. We finally get to our room and do our routine check for bedbugs. There were no signs so we thought we were okay. I wish we had read the reviews on this place first. The next morning we woke up and found blood stains on our sheets. We also found a few bugs in the bed, and under the sheets and in the mattress. We called the hotel staff and showed them the bugs and they had no reaction. We asked to speak to a manager, and the manager wasn't available. When we got home we had to throw out our suitcases because we didn't want to infest our home. A few days later my sister and I broke out with these awful itchy sores all over our bodies and face. We had to seek medical treatment, I had to have an inspector come and inspect my home, I had to buy every medication I could find to treat it. I still have scarring all over my skin. When we requested to speak to a manager, they weren't available. Again. We wrote letters to corporate requesting reimbursement for all of our belongings that had to be thrown out and for our medical expenses, and have not gotten any reply. It took a month for the bites to subside, but I could't sleep for weeks. It has caused me to have anxiety now when I sleep in hotels, and embarrassment. I urge you to avoid this hotel at all costs. They have done nothing to alleviate this situation and will not return our calls, letters or emails and have zero accountability, not even an apology was given.
