We were on a 3 week trip of the SW and this was by far the worst room we stayed in and apart from Ceasar's Palace in LV also the most expensive one.
First, the location is awful. Several miles from the Lake Powell, that you can see, but can't get to any other way but with a car. We paid extra for lake view only to realize, that you can see it in the far distance if you step through the door and look right.
Second, we had to rush to get to the place since the manager was there only till 8 p.m. and if we were late, we coul've stayed outside. We had to shorten our trip to Bryce Canyon for that.
Third, the room. The room was dirty, smelly and the furniture was at least 30-40 years old. We were uncomfortable walking on the thick carpet due to so many dirt on it. Obviously the managers idea how to cut costs on room cleaning is to put a wacum cleaner in the room, so everybody can clean it for themselves. The blankets were extremly dirty and had holes in them. Once you fold out a very uncomfortable couch and pull out a bed from the closet there is hardly any room left. The bathroom was so-so, it did have a washer and a dryer. The large spider in it scared out the girls, but I guess that could've happened anywhere.
