“May have gotten bed bugs bites from here =(”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

My boyfriend and I chose to stay here the night before a rafting trip due to the price. We should have known better. It was a real dump. Dirty, dirty, musty old rooms. About a week or so after we returned from the trip we had bed bug bites that may have come from here or the Howard Johnsons in Williams or Phoenix. Still, why chance it?

Room Tip: The restaurant next to the hotel 7's was delightful. Best part of that part of the trip.

“Good for the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011 via mobile

We paid $48 for the room bearing that in mind what we got was good for that price - free wifi and parking and breakfast (which was only verealnand toast). Good for an overnight stopover as close to amenities and certain excursions too. Probably wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night though. Service was excellent

“Nice Motorlodge Centrally Located in Page”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Typical of roadside motels with the usual outdated furniture of circa 1970’s. Large room with microwave and refrigerator with exterior hallways that had a small table and chairs if you had a room poolside (we did). Outdoor pool was nice for a quick swim and relax. Motel was neat and clean with about 90% occupied by Europeans. Good location right in downtown Page within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great little Texas BBQ Drive In (Big John’s) two blocks away that served BBQ nachos which were very good. A big plus is a Safeway grocery store located directly across the street which has a hot/cold deli and sells both beer and liquor. Restaurant right on the premises although we did not try. Continental breakfast is basic but plentiful (cereal, toast, muffins). The room served our needs for a place to sleep after a long day exploring the Glen Canyon area.

NOTE: Took 2 week Grand Circle Tour. For other lodging reviews please see: Zion NP Lodge, Bryce Canyon Inn Tropic, Days Inn Capitol Reef Torrey, Kokopelli Lodge Moab, Grand Canyon North Rim Cabins, Jacob Lake Inn Jacob Lake.

“Surprisingly pleasant room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

We stopped in Page when it got too late for us to drive on to Lake Powell and set up a camp site. A smiling and affable young man was at the front desk. There were no more ground floor rooms available and he thoughtfully gave us a room on the second floor at the top of the stairs, which was handy as we had gear to unload and we could drive right up to the base of the stairs. The room turned out to be spacious. It was cheap in the way that budget motels are but it was also very clean and kept up well, distinguishing it from most other budget motels. Clearly the owners care about this property. We had no complaints.

The room was genuinely non-smoking and everything (lights, tv, coffeemaker, A/C, plumbing, etc.) was in good working condition. The carpet was a little lumpy towards the bathroom but it was clean as was the bathroom which was fairly large and had a small sliding window (always appreciated). We had 2 queen beds and one considerably harder than the other; in fact both were too hard for me but I like a soft bed. No bedbugs - I always check. There was a bit of street noise in the evening as the motel is on a busy corner but since we sleep with earplugs it didn't bother us. Clean, cold mini-fridge, plenty of closet space. The room had south-facing windows and stayed dark enough for us to sleep late. Typical continental breakfast and ice machine. We didn't use the pool or any of the other amenities.

Prior to coming here we had stopped at the Super 8 and Travelodge which were overpriced even for walk-in rates. Our room here was 1/3 less than either of the other two motels. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by this Rodeway Inn and will gladly return when our travels bring us back to Page.

“A bit shabby”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I stayed here as I was travelling North. The hotel is basically a motel, on the high street through Page.

The room is basic - a TV, air conditioner, shower and a bed. The facilities are a little shabby and could do with an upgrade, but the room was clean and warm when I arrived. The air conditioner is a little archaic and makes a heck of a noise!

The bottom line is that the hotel is basic - absolutely nothing to write home about. If it were half the price, I would have no problem recommending it. As it is, for this price, I think you could do better.
