Hotel is clean and not that noisy. Problems - it's expensive plus no free parking (they charge $25 per night for a valet parking). One night somebody from the front desk called us in the night (2 am in the morning) and left a rude message that don't smoke or there will be $100 fine. In reality we do not smoke. I think somebody else below our floor was smoking and the smoke was moving through the ducts.

stayed at this hotel in october after driving from ontario canada---to myrtle beach south carolina...washington all through the states to end up in new york for a few days. we valet parked here with frankie---awesome nice guy. front desk clerk was barbara...who was amazing also. the staff went out of their way to help you and make you feel at home in brooklyn. stayed at this hotel to commute into manhattan everyday. the subway is 3 min walk, and that might be an exaggeration. you left the front door of the hotel and you could basically see it. safe neighbourhood...very friendly people in the bayridge area. rooms were very neat and tidy and were spacious for the new york and area around. we valet parked for an extra 25.00 a day----so worth it cause its buper to bumper on those narrow roads...over all amazing stay and would stay there again next trip...thanks again to frankie and barbara!!! from the girls from canada!!!

Stayed here end of September - the hotel is basic but clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Although the breakfast room is small we had no problem getting seated and the food provided was more then adequate. The main plus for the hotel is the area itself - there are plenty of shops, bars and eating places and felt very safe even late at night. Was up early one morning and with the sun shining the area had a bit of an old fashioned sea side town vibe. The subway is steps away from the hotel and easy access to Manhattan and other NY boroughs. Advice for travellers coming from JFK airport - the shuttle buses do not come to this area but we were able to use the airport expressway to link up with the subway and there are v helpful attendents to point you in the right direction - takes about 40 mins with one change once you get onto the subway.

Went to visit a friend in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn and this hotel was recommended. Brought daughter and two friends. Frankie at the front door was very helpful, as was Barbara at reception. The hotel is nice - located two blocks from major shopping stores, including Century 21. Paid to have my car parked overnight and then used Bell car service which was recommended by the hotel -they were super reliable and quick respond time. Lots of restaurants and small bars in the area. Hotel beds were comfortable. Bathroom was decent size. Breakfast bar had the waffle maker which the girls loved. Elevator service was quick - only four floors, so it was great. Served it purpose for the night. Would have rather stayed in Manhattan...but recommend it if you have to stay in Brooklyn.
