I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on 10/31/11 for one night on business. I've used this hotel several times in the past two years when visiting a client in Metrotech.
It was good value at $109 plus tax. They charge $24 for parking, which I paid given the nature of the neighborhood. The rooms are clean, I didn't spend any time in the public areas of the hotel. The breakfast area is small, and on this trip was full of young Venezuelan soccer players, so I didn't get breakfast.
It's about a half mile to Atlantic Avenue, where there are several decent restaurants, but this part of Brooklyn is a little sketchy, so it's not a walk for the faint hearted.
