“A hidden jewel....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

My wife and I stayed here on a Christmas holiday trip to New York and what a wonderful little jewel Honey's is! Beginning with how sparkling clean every room is kept! This visit we stayed in one of the rooms just off the kitchen. It was warm and cozy with a very comfortable bed. We were greeted by the owner, Laura, a gracious and welcoming young lady. She was very helpful in recommending local eateries and with subway directions. They are in the midst of installing solar panels on the roof, which will be a nice green addition to the inn. The television room is a comfortable and nicely decorated respite for reading or watching TV. One of the real assets here is Celia! She welcomed us with a smile each morning and a delicious breakfast. And, she knows all the local places of interest and willingly shares her knowledge with the guests. Parking is no problem, you may have to park a block away but that is to be expected in Brooklyn. There are two subway stations very close, the Newkirk Plaza or the Avenue H station for the Q and B trains. These trains stop at convenient locations in Manhattan with just a short ride. In short, a fine reasonably priced B&B in the heart of Brooklyn. As Arnold says....I'll be back!

“Great value B&B”

We stayed for 4 nights at Honey's B&B and really enjoyed our time there. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious. We really loved that the room was not over-heated like most B&Bs do in north America! The location is on a quiet, tree-lined street that is just a few minutes walking distance from the subway - easy for our daily commute into Manhattan. Breakfast was very good - although we would have enjoyed some more variety over the 4 days. Would definitely recommend this B&B for the excellent value and comfortable stay.

“Honey's rocks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

Honey's is a fantastic little place. Quaint, cosy and so comfortable. The hosts are very attentive and accommodating. The breakfasts are varied and so delicious. They have a spacious shared lounge with books, magazines, television and internet access. Their location is great too, quiet tree-lined streets that only a short walk down will bring you to the b and q trains that take you straight into Manhattan in less than 30 minutes. Great value and great time! Thank you Honey's, we'd happily recommend you to others.

“Excellent bed and breakfast in Brooklyn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011

We stayed at Honey's bed and breakfast about a month ago. It was our first time in New York and we loved it! The room was very comfortable and afordable! We had to share a bathroom but we did not have any trouble with that! Breakfast was always good and healthy, and we really enjoyed having the company of Celia, the lovely lady who works at the B&B. The B&B was also close to the subway so it was easy to get around. En bref, we had a wondurfull stay at honey's and we would not hesitate to come back !

“A great alternative”

Honey's was a lovely way to see there was more to NYC than Manhatten. Was a little nervous about sharing a bathroom, but it was fine. We were 2 adults and 1 child and while snug in the room, was still comfortable. Breakfast was good and accomm was very clean. A short bus ride (can use the Metrocard used for the subway on bus as well) or walk in a pinch to Cortelyou Rd which had a great variety of restaurants for dinner.
