My wife and I stayed here on a Christmas holiday trip to New York and what a wonderful little jewel Honey's is! Beginning with how sparkling clean every room is kept! This visit we stayed in one of the rooms just off the kitchen. It was warm and cozy with a very comfortable bed. We were greeted by the owner, Laura, a gracious and welcoming young lady. She was very helpful in recommending local eateries and with subway directions. They are in the midst of installing solar panels on the roof, which will be a nice green addition to the inn. The television room is a comfortable and nicely decorated respite for reading or watching TV. One of the real assets here is Celia! She welcomed us with a smile each morning and a delicious breakfast. And, she knows all the local places of interest and willingly shares her knowledge with the guests. Parking is no problem, you may have to park a block away but that is to be expected in Brooklyn. There are two subway stations very close, the Newkirk Plaza or the Avenue H station for the Q and B trains. These trains stop at convenient locations in Manhattan with just a short ride. In short, a fine reasonably priced B&B in the heart of Brooklyn. As Arnold says....I'll be back!
