This hotel is disgusting! The floor I was on (3rd) smelled like urine, and the room smelled like a public bathroom. The hotel is poorly maintained and very old. One of the pillow cases I had a a nasty brown stain on it. The window had a bullet hole in it (.22 caliber)but was covered by new glass. Oh and the towels....the towels were yellow! I am glad I brought my own! They give free breakfast but the condition of the hotel made me stay away. I didn't want to eat anything from that place. The piping is rusted. Everytime I used the sink brown water came out first. They also iie about the check-out time. Their website says 12 but they call you at 11 telling you its time to leave. I stayed till 12! The room had peeling wall-paper and the bathroom had peeling paint. The room door and bathroom door could not lock! Last but not least, they have no air conditioning, Just an old radiator...so if its a hot night, the window is all you have to help deal with the heat and the odor. I wish I read reviews before making my reservation. Stay away from this place.

I was on vacation from Germany and I stayed at the Golden Gate Motor. It was like a pet shop. I saw about 2 mice running around and in the bathroom where cockaroaches . The next morning I was itching all over when I woke up..
The staff and the location where good
My suggestion is to Knockit down and start over

We had a very negative experience in this place. The building was dirty. Personal was rude. No air conditioner. It felt very very cheap place. The room looked like 20 year without any cosmetic renovation. Not recommended!

The worst place ever......it stinks, the bath tub was black like it had never been cleaned. I will not recommend this stink tel to no one.
