“Cheap and easily accessible”

We stayed for a whole week. We had a good price by priceline.com. We did'nt mind the small rooms, since we were only there to sleep. It was near the subway station around 35min from times square. We didn't mind the time since were from a big city as well and its approximatively the time to get downtown. We find the neighberhood safe. The staff was nice we had no problems. The continental breakfeast was ok. Nothing special there, but i still don't get why they serve Donuts for breakfeast? but its like that in alot of place in the usa...
So for the experience we had a really nice stay! check in check out was really easy!

Room Tip: Really tiny room, not for big families!

“Good place to sleep only”

I came to this hotel with my friend after a 7 hour drive from Canada, for a trip to New York city. We stayed during 2 nights. The hotel was nice and it's located only 5 minutes from the nearest subway station and there's a few restaurants and a deli near by. The rooms were small but clean. However, for the people coming by car there's only a few parking spaces. Fortunatly we were lucky to find a place. The only bad thing is that the shower didn't seem to work. Besides that this hotel was fine.

Room Tip: make sure that the shower works.

“Dont go there”

Having just returned from New York, staying at the Days Inn Brooklyn was a big mistake after a very long journey arriving at the hotel the reception was a window in a porch with staff who didnt know what they were doing and some of us not booked in they said even though we had the confirmation documents ,after an hour we checked in,the rooms were small the wardrobe was about a foot across with a trouser press jammed in the drawers were about 9 inches wide and couldnt get in them because the bed was about that far away, the bed was confortable and the bathroom ok,the trains that ran all night were a problem and seemed only yards away. After 3 hours sleep, the small breakfast room badly needed a revamp but the coffee was good and continental breakfast was quite adequate. The area of Brooklyn is not the kind of place to wander around on an evening we were told this by a local,it is also about a 40 minute subway train ride into the city and the taxi drivers did not want to take us back to Brooklyn saying they didnt know where the hotel was on 3 occasions we got sat in the taxi and when they knew we wanted to go to Brooklyn asked us to get out.New York was magical and was everything we hoped it would be."Annie East Yorks"

Room Tip: Dont stay here

“Worn out, very noisy”

This hotel in general is very worn out. I stayed there two times and the low price does not worth. Very small rooms and too much noise from the train. You can also have trouble parking your car due to the small number of parking spots. I would opt for the Confort Inn, which is even closer to the subway station and plenty of parking spots.

Room Tip: Avoid those that face the train line !

“Was somewhere to sleep”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

Bed was comfy and room was cleaned (ish) daily and shower worked so from my days of being a backpacker i was content. However considering i was no longer staying in a hostel and supposedly a hotel i felt this hotel could be better, sadly i thought that with a little bit more effort it could be nice enough but needed replacement carpets/ repaint walls and a deep clean would have made the hotel infinitely better. Breakfast was nice enough and most the staff were pleasant enough except one grumpy old man on reception.
