In November our family stayed at the Condor for two nights. It was for our daughters wedding at ICI in Brooklyn. My husband put my personal belongings from my large pocket book in the safe because I was carrying a very small purse to the wedding ceremony. When we checked out he returned the things from the safe to me, minus two small plastic credit card holders. I never realized they were missing until late December when I wanted to charge something at Macy's. Forgetting all about our stay at the Hotel I tore the house apart looking for my credit cards. When we received the monthly bills nothing had been charged so I assumed they were somewhere in the house. But I was frustrated and annoyed with myself for what I thought was my misplacing them. Yesterday, I received a phone call from a young man who said he was an employee at the Condor Hotel in Brooklyn telling me a guest found my credit cards in the safe. I was overwhelmed!!! What honesty. The guest was an honest person and the staff member John Cohen was more than honest. He even offered to mail them to me, but we took the 1 1/2 hour ride from Long Island in to Brooklyn so we could thank him personally. John was polite, friendly, professional, and honest. The owners of the Hotel are lucky to have such a nice young man greeting guests at the Condor. Thank you John.
Oh, and by the way, we loved our stay at the hotel in November. Clean, modern rooms. Great linen, and a wonderful full breakfast in the morning. I wish I had reason to stay there again. Renee Wolf-Calvin
