Stayed here in December/Jan. All the staff were very polite and most helpful. The rooms compact and clean; not far from the subway.
My only 'complaint' is they allow pets in the hotel; spent the earlier part of one night awake because of a barking dog in an adjoining room... to their credit, they did offer me another room around 1.00am in the morning.

I booked this hotel in Brooklyn online (for Jan 28) around 5:45pm today, Jan 5, because of good reviews and the promise of free parking if booked directly with the hotel. About 2 1/2 hours later I tried to cancel my reservation because our restaurant plans did not pan out. I was told that it was not refundable because of the low rate I got ($101+). I called the customer care line to request a cancellation but they couldn't help either. They suggested that I call the property directly which I did but my request was rejected. So, I lost $101 and will never stay in Super 8 again. Most hotels require from a week to 24-hour cancellation. This policy is quite unreasonable and will drive away business eventually.

I stayed on two occasions in December & both were positive experiences. Attentive & helpful staff. Usually stay in Manhatten's Theater District but for $100-$150 less per night & 20 minute subway ride away (only a block from hotel) hard to beat. 5th Ave, Brooklyn has many great dining options, as well.

Never felt unsafe - people too busy texting to even be aware! Brooklyn has great exploring options as well. Up & coming bohemian style.

Rooms smallish but great layout. Windows open plus ac & heat. Preferred 4th floor away from elevators - ice & vending only on 2nd & 4th floors though my stay on 3rd floor not much hassle for ice/vending. Smoking floor in basement. Stayed in 411 & 301 but 412 & 302 layout seemed a bit spacier for luggage.

Join Wyndam for rewards (airline or other) but make reservations directly with hotel. After friendly chat, I was offered better rate. Supplied Wyndam # upon check out for rewards.

Definitely stay again!

Me and my fiance stayed 9 days in the Super 8 Brooklyn in December. The hotel was really nice and clean with a good breakfast. The metro station is just around the corner, and it takes about 30 min to get downtown with the R-train. The rooms a quite small, but it didn't bother us at all. We would recomend this to everyone!
