I have stayed in the Garden Suite and the Parlor Suite and both are lovely. The garden suite is a little cozier in terms of its decor, whereas the Parlor is more modern in feel. Both have a queen sized bed and a twin bed, but the Garden Suite's twin has its own adorable little room, whereas in the Parlor it's a daybed. The Parlor Suite has more natural light, being up on the first floor, and goes out onto a back balcony. The Garden Suite is on the ground floor under the stairs and opens out into the back yard. Both are huge and have full sized eat-in kitchens with cookware, dishes, and silverware. I really love staying here because you get the sense that you have your own little brownstone in Brooklyn as opposed to feeling like a tourist, and the people in the local cafes and restaurants are very friendly so you quickly feel like a local. The owner is great - he responds immediately to the smallest questions, and Celeste, who maintains the rooms, is lovely. I needed to check out late and asked if I could stay in the room until the afternoon for an extra charge, and he told me to go ahead and stay for no charge because no one needed my room right away. I will be back any time I'm in Brooklyn!
