This was a most wonderful find. I think it was its name that first attracted me on the internet.We were not disappointed. The lovely gardens, comfortable room with all mod cons and peace and quiet. A great home cooked family type breakfast. Within a very easy 10 minutes walk of downtown and good restaurants, ( However, if you want a post office, make sure you go Monday to Friday!That's Fairbanks fault not Lambert and Marnie's)
The owners are friendly and helpful in every way

This was a welcome change from the cookie cutter hotels. Very friendly and welcoming - nice sized room, but the owner was a stickler for removal of shoes. Fair enough, he wanted to keep his house looking nice, and this was the difference, it was a house and not a hotel. This was re-inforced, with a 'family' style breakfast with other guests around the table - good to meet and hear other travellers tales.

Very helpful - told where to go in Fairbanks, where to eat and advised on what excursions might be of interest. This place, though not strictly in the centre, was only 10 mins walk away from the middle of town, so no problem. Would I stay again? - certainly.

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely B&B in August. It was warm, friendly and had the most delicious breakfasts.

My husband and I stayed at the Minnie Street BnB for 2 nights at the end of August. By the time we had arrived we had already been traveling for 8 days and our suite, The Pansy Suite Premium, was absolutely wonderful. Super large, full kitchen, dining room, large laundry room, 2 TV's, large living room, large bedroom, super comfy large bed, with nice linens, closet, and full bathroom with a steam shower. IMMACULATE. By this time we were a little tired of eating out, so we went to the local Safeway, about a 15 min walk; and cooked our own dinners for 2 nights. That was nice. Their breakfasts in the morning are delicious and you get to visit with the other guests. They have a very large, extensive, outdoor deck so it's nice to stay outside and relax. There's a refrigerator on the deck- on the honor system, 1.00 for each drink- that has nice cold bottled water and sodas. And our suite had it's own private deck with patio furniture as well. There is a gas BBQ available for all guests which we used 2 nights to cook our dinner. We ended up spending 1/2 a day with one of the guests there for an outing, and had dinner with her one evening, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. To be able to cook our own meal and eat in our private dinning room added a lot to our enjoyment, we really valued being able to relax and make our own schedule. Lambert got us tickets for the Riverboat Discovery which made that easy. There is a fee for laundry because water is at a premium in Fairbanks, but all the soap, bleach, etc. is there for you to use. We would definately tell our friends and family to stay here!!
