In a nutshell - Jeff and Arna's Fox Creek B&B had by far the comfy's beds we have come across in Alaska so far, great showers and fantastic breakfasts. Their home is situated in a lovely area surrounded by forest, 1 mile from Fox and only 11 miles from Fairbanks. Nice restaurants and the local micro-brewery just around the corner. Great lawn area for the kids to run around on and a good little deck to relax on with a beer or wine. There are only two guest rooms on the property, one with a private bath, so don't be put off by the second room having a 'shared' bath - you have two bathrooms to choose from very close by.
Arna was fantastic and went out of her way to accommodate our (very overtired) girls (3 and 5). However, Jeff and Arna really showed their true colours when we couldn't find our car keys when it came to leave - on 4th of July public holiday weekend! Arna made a million phone calls to organise the new key to be cut and reprogrammed and offered to drive us out to Fairbanks to collect it (and offered to help us with other important tasks we had to somehow get done that day as well). Couldn't recommend this B&B high enough - awesome location, genuinely lovely people who obviously love hosting and fantastic beds and food.
