John picked me up at the train station and everything from that point on was wonderful. Great omelet for breakfast and other goodies. Very helpful about local attractions. Will stay there again, if in Fairbanks. John speaks a bit of Japanese, too, which would be helpful to some.

Stayed in a house separated from the main house. The houseI stayed in had various rooms and a main living room/dining room/kitchen that was shared by other travelers and some nights this was an annoyance when a group decided to play cards in the living room that my room was off of.

John, the proprieter is very helpful, but very particular about people keeping everything on the breakfast tiable just as he set it, so it might not make everyone at ease. The rooms were clean, but I felt the arrangement of furniture in my room did not allow for much movement-ie, bumped into the sink which is in the bedroom instead of the private bathi.

The place is close to downtown Fairbanks, and all in all it was ok.

B&B is central, owner John was welcoming and friendly and provided great travel options and transport advice. Room was very clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast options were incredibly varied and delicious. Excellent service and a great location!

Had a very good experience staying here. The location is great. Was able to walk to several of the downtown Fairbank attractions and resturants from the B & B. John was a great host and provided a great selection of choices for breakfast. Each day he made a different type of omelette. Depending on what time guests came for breakfast it was a little busy but that only happend once out of the four days we were there. It is on a main street so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. But the bedrooms were clean & comfortable. Wi-Fi service was available. He actually has two houses right next to each other and between the two homes he has a picnic table with a tent over it which makes for a great place to relax or eat. The one thing I would recommend is that if you have issues with stairs to make sure when making a reservation that you get a first floor room. To get to the 2nd floor in either house requires going up a spiral staircase. But if you stay here you will have a relaxing time. John is very helpful in providing information on the area.
