Your hotel in Fairbanks is always clean and the staff friendly. I did have some allergy problems with the carpet cleaning product used in the lobby and a little adhesive smell in my room (Room 210) regarding the carpet tiles.

We stayed at this Best Western on the Advice of a cab driver stating it was a newer hotel in Fairbanks as our travels back into the city were delayed by challenging weather up north. A couple of us were able to check in with decent rates without reservations. Staff at the front desk was all over the board, one lady was very helpful, friendly and yet another man was rude, short and notably taken back by any question or inquiry. Once past check in noted that room was large, well furnished, flat screen TV and everything you could want in a hotel room. Noise levels were consistant with those I have noticed with most best Westerns - Lots of noise and little insulation from hallway or room next door. "Business center" was small and very limited to a computer and printer. Beyond that stay was fine.

In short, free breakfast and 24/hr coffee was good to have. Neither restaurant nor bar within the hotel. No stocked refrigerators, but they did have a concession store next to the check in desk. We were told that there were a few within "walking" distance which turned out to be a 15 + minute walk.

Hotel provided vouchers to local cab company to cover the $10 fee each way to and from the Airport so make sure you ask about this - the hotel didn't say anything about it but our Cab driver did.

When we return to this area we will most likely stay at another property that has more walking access to food & drink. Over all the hotel was clean, decent stay and met our expectations for a BW property.

Great hotel, perfect location, close to the airport and 2 main thorough fares (Fairbanks is a very easy town to drive in). Located to main tourist attractions. The employees were very friendly and ready to help with anything you may need. The rooms were large, the shower and bathroom well designed. The breakfast was tasty - more than continental as it included eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, sweet breads, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. My only complaint - the bed was too soft. I prefer a firm, not hard, bed. This bed was very soft and my back could tell!

This Best Western Plus was a pleasant surprise. It has a very convienent location, being close to the Airport, and minutes from Alaska University Fairbanks and downtown Fairbanks.
The beds were very comfortable, the rooms and common areas were very clean (Staff seemed to be cleaning the lobby, dining area, hallways, etc. frequently) and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding, with omelet style eggs, bacon, sausage, and a hot waffle station, complete with strawberries and whip cream topping, plus fruit, pastries, and cereals. We stayed there 3 nights as our home base for trips to Denali, Chena River Hot Springs, and other nearby sites.
