Was referred to the Fairbanks B&B on 9th Ave. and Kellum by another full B&B late in the afternoon. We had taken the afternoon Riverboat Boat Discovery tour, which was excellent. Our hostess Barbara keeps a clean house with lots of unique decorations -- a bear skin her husband shot and native masks. Great stories that go with them. Barbara referred us to several good restaurants within walking distance. Our room and private bath were fine. We had a big breakfast before leaving. On the way south we stopped to visit the University of Alaska museum, which has expanded recently. Would give the B&B an "excellent" but it is a B&B not a four-star hotel. It was excellent for sleeping and eating breakfast.
