We recently stayed at this hotel for the second time while visiting the Fredericksburg area. We previously stayed here this past May. It's conveniently located just off I-95 at Exit 133, three (3) miles north of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre shopping mall.

The rooms are clean and comfortable; featuring large, flat-screen TVs and in-room free Wi-Fi connectivity. Despite it's proximity to I-95, we've enjoyed uninterrupted sleeps each time.

The free breakfast is similar to that at a Fairfield Inn or Holiday Inn Express.

There is also a business center with computer access in the lobby area.

If you are a ChoicePrivileges member, and book at least seven (7) days in advance, you may be able to get a better rate.

We were visiting family for the holidays and wanted a reliable convenient hotel. This served our purpose. It has free wi-fi, free breakfast and was close to all the stores. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was good too.

We were traveling with an infant, and requested a crib which was in the room. We did not get the suite even though we a members of the Choice Hotel program.

Only suggestion is that the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced as it is sinking in the middle.

I don't give five stars very often, but Comfort Suites of Frederickburg deserves all five!

My husband, adult daughter and I recently traveled to Savannah, GA. Our plan was to make it to Richmond the first night. Due to traffic on I95, it became clear that Fredericksburg was more realistic.

Our daughter, also a Trip Advisor contributor, pulled out her smart phone and found Comfort Suites on Trip Advisor. She then booked our two rooms over the phone. Easy access off 95!

We arrived around 10 pm on a Friday evening. Front desk was very helpful. I do think the next group to check in filled the place for the evening.

Our rooms/suites, especially considering the modest rate, were extremely nice. Bathrooms super clean. My husband is a super early riser, so with the little extra suite area, he could use his laptop and the light on the screen would not bother me.

Breakfast the next morning was excellent.

If you find yourself in need of a room in Fredericksburg, make the Comfort Suites your choice.

Stayed at this Comfort Suites as a resting place on a trip from Baltimore headed south. Check in was a breeze. The room as well as the linens were all clean. The beds were very comfortable. The high-speed Internet was free and worked very well. No problems. The heating/AC unit was nice and quiet; however, the thermostat is on the wall, so turning the knobs directly on the unit will not get you any results. The wiring/lighting configuration of the room was a bit different. The bed lamp is controlled by the light switch at the door where you first enter the room; thus, in order to have the bed lamp on, the light at the door had to also be on, only a very minor annoyance. Overall, the room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The only "hot" items were sausage gravy with biscuits and Belgian waffles, but there were also pastries, fruits, and juices. It's enough to get you going in the morning. I would not have any problems staying here again.

A word of caution: Watch your speed on Warrenton Road (US 17). Speed enforcement appears to be very heavy-handed. I witnessed the police pulling people over left and right. Use caution.
