We stayed here for 4 nights in September while in Town for a wedding. Traveling long distances with a toddler is a challenge, especially and active one that needs his naps. The suite style of hotel works great for quiet families looking for clean and comfortable accommodations. This is a hotel geared towards business travelers and long terms stays. As such, I stress the word quiet, out of respect for those business travelers that call this place home.
The hotel staff is adequate. They are not overly accommodating, but they are very friendly. Like others, they didn't direct us where to park; however, we're adults, and by looking at the room directory, we could figure that one out on our own. We requested a crib, and we had one within 10 minutes of check in. The pool and hot tub are nice, and not crowded. It was like having a pool to ourselves. The cocktail hour was fine, and after several days with an antsy toddler, the free beer and wine was welcome.
The breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of options to suit all tastes. I recommend the breakfast burrito. There was fruit and cereal and plenty of coffee. It wasn't gourmet, but it was just fine and exactly what I expected.
We got a lot of use out of the small kitchen, since we could get take out and reheat it for lunches. I'm not one to bring small children to restaurants, so this option was perfect for us.
All in all, this was a wonderful trip. The hotel was like a home away from home. The hotel is spotless. the one bedroom king suite was perfect for our needs, and we would most definitely stay here again.
While you're there, check out the Wegman's next door. All grocery stores should aspire to be Wegman's. Happy travels.
