“Huge clean rooms and fairly priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We stayed here for just one night after purchasing a car nearby. The very friendly desk clerk accepted our discount coupon and gave us a choice of rooms. This was a Saturday night in late January. The open feel of the motel's interior is very appealing and inviting. Our king room was just huge with a sitting room, TV, microwave and small quiet fridge. The bedroom had another TV and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with many towels and the shower offered different speeds from the shower head, even though ours wasn't working too well. Quality brand shampoos, etc..as well. The nearby interstate was not intrusive and the room was very quiet. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat. Nice!! The parking area appears safe and we had no issues during our stay. The nearby Mexican restaurant (El Charro) is walking distance and the food was excellent. We did a review for them as well. We wish all motels could be this fairly priced and comfortable during our travels. Highly recommend!!

Room Tip: Upper floor (5th) was very quiet.

“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

My family and I stayed here for over six weeks as part of a job relocation. The staff and management are wonderful, they went out of their way to make us comfortable during the holidays, even putting a small Christmas tree in our room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is delicious! They have a Thursday light dinner for guests as well. My ten year old loved the hotel and especially the pool so much he didn't want to leave!

“Best hotel on Interstate 95 without question”

We recently stayed at Wytestone Suites in Fredericksburg for the second time in four months. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better from our first stay in August with the best hot buffet breakfast around we were surprised by a complimentary dinner offered on Thursday nights. When checking in with a very friendly individual at the front desk we were also greeted by a gentleman in a suit who welcomed us. This same gentleman circulated around during dinner talking with guests and assisted them with whatever they needed. To our surprise we found this gentleman to be the hotel president Fred Chason. Now that's what we call humble service that makes America great. Other hotels should take this as an example. This is a warm and welcoming oasis that is more than just a place to lie your head while on the road traveling. We have recommended this hotel to our relatives and friends and we look forward to our next stay there when travelling from florida to new york. We would also want to direct you to the complimentary homemade cookies that are available all day at the front desk. Mike & Celeste

“Good stay, large suites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

My party of three found the Wytestone Suites to be comfortable and convenient to the Interstate and many shopping and dining options in Fredericksburg.

We had a ground floor suite close to the desk and breakfast area. Entering the suite, you find a living room with sofabed, chair, work desk and flat screen television.

A kitchenette area offers a mini-fridge, microwave, and small sink.

The bathroom was big enough with combo tub/shower, commode, and large vanity. Amenities included soaps, shampoo, condition, lotion, a shower cap, plus a makeup remover towelette.

The bedroom, which had a door to offer some privacy, had two beds, tv in an armoire, a writing desk, plus a closet.

The decor of the suite was dated and the furniture and carpet could use a refreshing. But the suite was clean.

We had some great service from maintenance. Upon check-in, I noticed that our showerhead was not working properly. I walked to the front desk and mentioned it. They immediately radioed their maintenance man, who was in the room changing out our showerhead within five minutes. We encountered a few staff members throughout our stay, and all were caring, attentive, and professional. We got some good dining recommendation from the front desk staff.

Breakfast had both hot and cold items. The hotel also has a small sundries shop with some snacks and microwavable foods if you're famished outside breakfast hours.

There's also a small business center with one computer and printer.

Since the hotel is built around an atrium with an indoor pool and breakfast area, I felt the living room, which had a window overlooking the atrium, was noisy. Late sleepers would want to sleep in the back bedroom with the door closed.

I would stay at Wytestone Suites again. We felt it was a very good value for the size and comfort of the room plus the big breakfast.

Room Tip: All rooms open to the atrium, which can be loud due to the indoor pool. Light sleepers should sleep...

“Incredible value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year because of our sons' travel baseball programs. We keep coming back because of the incredible value and exceptionally friendly service. Highly recommend you stay here, unless you are expecting the Ritz-Carlton. But for the rest of us....a great stay at a great price.

Room Tip: Full size washer and dryer on third floor. Might want to bring detergent and a softener sheet, just...
