reading reviews I was a little scared- but everything else that would accept me with a dog along was already booked.
whoever made my initial reservation messed up on my room choice but that was quickly fixed with a smile. I received an outside access room and expected to find problems. other than a slightly aged vanity sink faucet. the room was very clean, bedding in great condition, room large and airy. a little dust on top of the wardrobe but that was it. bathroom was very clean. worst I can say about it was a chip in the tub's enamel.
there were no parking lot hookers as one reviewer stated or even any questionable types loitering around. glad the heater worked so well bc it is VERY cold this weekend.
I'm told the spa isn't working right now but the pool was nice and warm, I may take a dip later. I think low lighting in the lobby area (conference rooms and features turned off to reduce energy use) and the fountain being off can contribute more than necessary to a feeling someone is in a lousy hotel. But for under $40 a night, you shouldn't expect the Ritz. The dog is comfortable and well behaved as always. Overall, a decent deal.

Totally disgusting only lasted 3 hrs here 2 of which we went out to eat blood on the walls dirt on the floor rips on the unwashed sheets, drug deals in the parking lot they know and dont care STAY AWAY!!!!!

Do not stay here. This is the dirtest, flithiest place I have ever stopped at. On our way home from Florida we stopped for one night. We had an inside room right off the lobby. When we entered the room we noticed that the rug was full of large black spots. The TV did not work, so I picked up the phone which was very dirty and sticky to call the office when i noticed that the rug under the TV bureau had not been vacuumed in what looked like years. We pulled down the bedspread to find holes in the blanket. We went directly to the desk and demanded our money back. The lady at the desk asked if we would like another room. We told her NO WAY! Ramada should be ashamed to allow this hotel to carry there name. DO NOT STAY HERE!
