our family was traveling to Myrtle Beach, and we stoped here in Fredericksburg Va. for one night. We found that the rooms were clean, and quiet. The staff was freindly, and they had a nice continetal breakfast. A nice place to stop over for a night while traveling.

I stayed one night, September 13, 2011. My experience was not very good. I picked a night when construction crews were working on Highway 17, in front of the motel. If I had known they were going to start work, I wouldn't have stopped at this motel. The front office was good enough to change my room to one all the way in the back, furthest away from the Highway. There I was able to get some sleep. Both rooms were clean.

Probably the best part of the stay was the breakfast. There was a full breakfast with eggs and sausage.

I would have appreciated being warned when I checked in about all the noise that was going to start in the evening.

Everyone was friendly and we'd had a clean and modern room downstrairs. Even if it's a bit noisy due to the highway just across the street, it's better than most of the other motels we been to. Breakfast is really good in comparison to other motels. So if you just want to stay not longer than one or two night, try this!

This has to be one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. We had to find a pet friendly hotel. We needed a non smoking room. The first one we were given was marked as such but reeked of cigarettes The next room they put us in the door key did not work and they would not fix it. The refrigerator had defrosted and there was water in the bottom about to spill out. The corner of the floor had not been cleaned - twist ties, plastic wrappers. The women next door could not get them to fix her door to make it lock. She stayed up all night outside her door and entertained guests. A dog which sounded like a moose howled 24 hours a day. Outside garbage was not only all over but they had not emptied overflowing cans in 24 hours. Disgusting! Beautiful town - too bad this hotel experience tainted our memory. The manager gave some pretty lame excuses for everything! They should all be fired!
