We stayed here on our way to Kings Dominion and later the south. Beds were nice and comfy. No internet though...the business center was down and so was the wireless for our whole stay. Had to use the hotel computer to buy amusement tix online. Breakfast was ok...at all these places I wish they'd have more fresh fruits and get away from all the bread products.

Front desk asked what card I was paying with, I gave him my credit card, and he bills my debit instead. Then without asking he voids that transaction (the money is still delayed) and I had to leave immediately to go home so I could put money in the bank for an incoming transaction. It was stupid for me to have the debit card in my priority club profile to begin with.

So I didn't get to stay more than an hour and 45 minutes as I had to drive back home (4 hours) and postpone my trip because of this guy's mistake. I was charged for a night's stay anyway. The front desk employee was polite (smug? I don't know?) but acted without thinking and offered no sympathy for my 1.5 hour stay at his little hotel. (most of the 1.5 hours was spent on the phone with my bank). I used to stay at this place frequently as I travel up and down I-95, but having had $90 literally taken from me, I won't be staying here again. period.

I tried and tried and couldnt get internet. The manager gave me a wire so i could direct wire but it ws just such an ordeal. They had 2 sections to the restaurant. The one that was nice was the one that allowed smoking. (of course) Dont really like the outside entrance to the rooms either.

If it was 1950 this would be a great hotel. The problem is it is not. Everything is old, even the computer system. My coworker and I had problems with our reservations. The rooms are old,the rugs..old, the bathroom..old. You get the idea.
Don't bother staying here. There are too many choices elsewhere.
