“Treated so well”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Brookline for a 2 day conference, and was pleasently surprised at how well I was treated.
When I arrived, the parking garage was not dispensing tickets as the signs said, but it still allowed me access to get in, so I wasn't held up. The check in experience was fantastic, Amy checked me in, and I was made to feel welcome right off the bat. She gave me my parking ticket at the desk, so I would not have any issue getting out. She greeted me with a smile, and even recognized me as a priority club member! Amy offered me a choice of coupons for the breakfast or dinner, which was nice. As it turned out I didn't need to use either, for the meals were provided for us during the conference. I was really impressed with the size of my room, and it was very clean! I really got excited when I saw the thoughtful touch of the great welcome bag waiting for me, with waters and snacks, and a very nice personal touch by the welcome letter from the GM- Thanks Glenn!

The staff who waited on us during the conference, such as the banquets team, did a marvelous job! Everywhere I went, anytime I passed housekeeping, maintenance or banquets staff they all smiled and said hello.

The only issue I had was with the elevators, I often took the stairs because they were pretty slow, and the small issue with the garage...but the elevators are beyond your control, and the garage situation was handled efficiently and again, caused no delays.

Thank you for providing such a lovely week for those of us attending the conference!

Room Tip: Ask for the executive rooms in the tower...It was lovely!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are pleased that your conference went well and that you will consider having it hear again in the future as we have some great plans to renovate the ballroom in the future. I will share your feedback with the front desk, and that your check in experience was a memorable one. Look forward to having you stay with us when your plans bring you back to this area.

“CRAP”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

The Holiday Inn in Boston is CRAP first of all they had me paying for breakfast that had moldy bread on my plate second of all the pool liner was falling off the pool and it was taped together at the bottom third of all my husband is handicapped and he and I reserved a handicapped room and did not get one because the person in that room extended their stay he could not even shower!!! I am not satisfied with this hotel my recommendation is to never stay in that hotel.

“Older hotel, convenient to BID and the Brigham”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011 via mobile

Stayed here for a residency interview so got a pretty good rate. Rooms were just okay. Older decor but a very comfortable bed. No natural light in some rooms because it is a converted motel. Staff was nice. Room service was okay.

“not really a typical holiday inn!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

we spent three nights in a ground room floor.
No daylight at all,not a single city view ,only one window with an inside view on an empty meeting room...excepted once with a dozen of old men.
Decent bathroom.
Dinner was ordinary, poor choice, poor quality, poor and rough service...not exactly lively!
At 11.10p.m bar was already closed, impossible to have a drink .
Fortunately it was not my holiday inn first time ,otherwise never more holiday inn!

However, good location for visiting the city, near tramway stop.
