Stayed for 2 nights while visiting our daughter who goes to college in Baltimore. Have stayed in the Inner Harbor several times before...at Hotel Monaco, Rennaissance, Marriott and others so not a novice in this area. I'll start with the good points. Parking is convenient, can do valet or self-park right next door (get a pass when checking in and can come/go as you please, daily rate charged to room). Unfortunately doesn't connect directly to hotel so have to go outside to get in the hotel, but not too bad so long as your not carrying a lot. Lobby and lounge/fitness etc is very nice. Pool is outside so closed during cold months. Location is fabulous and can take outdoor skywalk directly to Inner Harbor shops. Stayed on 8th floor facing harbor and views were fantastic. Service was top notch and everybody I dealt with was friendly and asking to help you. We especially would like to commend Jeremy at the Concierge, I'd highly recommend taking advantage of his expertise and connections... he hooked us up with a great place to eat and a great reservation in Fells Point. Now the bad...the room/bathroom isn't anything special. It looks like it's stuck in the 70's. I found the beds to be kinda hard, cold and uncomfortable and the toilet had a handle flush like you'd see in a public restroom...not a Hyatt! And...the worst thing about the rooms...noisy. If you are a light sleeper you better hope they didn't put you next to anybody that is a night owl or there is a lot going on downtown that night. I'm not a light sleeper, yet I was still awaken when the people next door came in late and proceeded to continue the merryment in bed...oh yes...I found it pretty funny but if this sort of thing isn't amusing to you beware. Overall, I'd stay there again just based on the location and service...but beware the rooms aren't anything great.
