We were on our way to DC and stayed here for one night. Though the hotel was right off the highway, the room was quiet. The room was just ok. A bit tacky with an oversized TV cabinet making the room seem very small. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit outdated. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, just an internet cable. The staff were helpful and the check in and check out were very quick. We wont stay here again for a single reason that breakfast was not up to the mark. There was not much of choice, so everyone was waiting for the waffles. There was just one waffle maker. We waited for some fifteen minutes, then we left, as it was upsetting our schedule. Kind of spoilt the mood of the trip that day, as we had to travel on an empty stomach.

It is obvious the owners are not vested in this property. How they maintain their franchise is a mystery to me. Room 130 has large areas of mold on the bathroom ceiling. There is no fan in the bathroom which creates the mold problem. The carpet is stained, dirt and dust in all edges of the room and under the beds. The upholstered chair needs cleaning or replacing. I am not a clean fanatic so the lack of cleanliness in this room was distressing. The front desk staff at check in were more interested in their own tasks than waiting on customers but if the owners treat their staff like they manage their hotels, it is not unexpected. All of the ice machines on both floors were broken including the one behind the front desk. The heating system is not temperature controlled, either high or low so you constantly need to get up to turn it on or off. We checked out the next morning and went to Days Inn which is comparable in price and well maintained.

Nice location right off of 695. Close to Security Square Mall. Clean, well appointed rooms. Friendly staff that are attentive to requests.

This hotel is older and a little dated. But it was clean, a good value, and convenient to BWI Airport. The staff was helpful and friendly and any problems were corrected immediately. They do not have wifi in the rooms, but did have service available by ethernet cable.
