“Will always stay here in the future”

We LOVE the Days Inn at Inner Habour in Baltimore. The staff was without exception helpful, kind and so professional. Prechious (sp?) at the front desk was fantastic as was Gerard. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. Even the security guards were so, so nice. The housekeeping staff was fantastic. The restaurant had the best food we ate while on our 5 night stay in Baltimore at great prices. Can't think of even one complaint. Everything was fantastic. Great experience all around.

“Incredible value and way better than what I was expecting.”

I have to say that I was impressed. I was not expecting this level of service from what I thought was a mid to low level chain hotel.

Rooms: Small but comfortable. The rooms have a nice t.v., comfortable bed, bathroom amenities, hair dryer, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There was a small basket with bottled water, popcorn, and granola bar that was replenished each day. Nice touch. Everything appeared to be very clean. One odd thing is that the sink/ vanity area in our room was separate from the shower area. Not a problem - just something of note. Also - free, but slow, wifi is available throughout the hotel. I also noticed that there was a pool for the warmer months.

Service: From check-in to check-out the staff was courteous and willing to help any way they could to make the stay better. Room service is available from their restaurant, and, while not fancy, does the trick.

Location: Can't beat it. It was very convenient to park, enter, exit. That is really great for a downtown hotel. Parking is $23 dollars a day extra - but the garage is attached to the hotel, so it was well worth it. The convention center is just down the street - along with a couple of sports bars if you're there for a weekend and need to watch a game. The attached bar/ restaurant is a plus. If you are working and don't have time or energy to go out - it really does help to have a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner right there off the lobby.

I generally stay in Holiday Inn Express or higher end hotels - but this worked out really well for a gal traveling solo (on a budget) for business.

One word of caution: If you are not used to city noise like me, it might be bothersome. But that will be true of any downtown hotel.

“Great Location to Mix Business & Pleasure”

I chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. I needed a place to stay overnight and meet with 2 college advising clients in Baltimore. At my phone request, the front desk gladly permitted an early check-in. The room I chose was ideally suited for this work session. It was large and L-shaped with a desk, sitting area with a coffee table, and wi-fi at one end and the bed, etc. at the opposite end. The staff, starting with doorman was, very friendly and helpful. They are definitely customer-centered. There was a microwave and mini-fridge also in the room. A nice touch was the bag of microwave popcorn and granola bars.

The only suggestions I'd have for improving the room are to add a second phone and clock on the desk since the only ones were next to bed at the other end of the L.

After we finished our work, it was an easy several blocks walk to take the girls for dinner at Inner Harbor where we also did some window shopping.

Booking on-line at the Day's Inn website made the price very reasonable, particularly considering the location. As I was leaving the next day, Ravens fans were on the streets everywhere walking to the stadium for a playoff game. The hotel is centered near much of the downtown action, including the Baltimore Convention Center....a very nice convenient place to stay.

Room Tip: Book on-line to save 20%. Choose a room with a desk & sitting area.

“Great service, great value!”

All the good reviews are true. My aunt and I needed an overnight room in the downtown are and, after reading the positive reviews online about this hotel, we chose it for the value and location. The service was excellent -- in particular the night desk manager, Gerald, was amazingly helpful. He fully explained our parking options and helped us pick the best choice. (The parking lot was connected to the hotel, very safe and cheaper than parking charged by most of the area hotels.) In addition, he kindly offered a flexible checkout time.

We were most impressed, however, by the immaculately clean room. For a value hotel option, the decor and comfort of our room rivaled any Marriott, albeit a bit smaller. The beds and pillows were wonderfully comfy; a new, large flat screen TV offered a wide range of cable and On Demand viewing; and, the (very clean) large fridge and coffee/tea maker and microwave offered lots of in-room snacking options.

Don't hesitate to stay at this Days Inn!

“Excellent value at Inner Harbor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

The hotel is just one block back from the Inner Harbor, and as a result is WAY cheaper than equivalent standard hotels on the water. Amenities were good, and the rooms were well appointed. Not huge, but enough room to move around and dump your things. Ultimately, this is the ideal hotel for a short stay / weekend break, or similar. It's right in the middle of the action in Baltimore. The staff are helpful. And it's sufficiently comfortable that it's a nice place to rest your feet after a long day sightseeing!

Room Tip: Ask for one facing away from the street.
