Due to a broken pipe in one of the rooms that my son and I had and an overbooked hotel due to the Red Sox being in town, my son and I were moved to a hotel 20 miles out of town for a night. We were chosen because we had a car while others did not. Apparently 4 rooms were affected. We checked into the hotel early at 1pm as the baseball game was at 4pm. After the game we went back to get our room key only to find out that we had no room and were being moved. This was approx 9pm at night. The front desk had my credit card info, we had a parking pass and took the hotel shuttle into the game. The manager on duty wrote me two comp nights on the back of a business card which I still have. Myself and 3 of my neighbors are now going to Baltimore this weekend with a reservation at this hotel. I called the front desk to see if I could take advantage of the comp night. The front desk worker named Solomon stated that the manager would not comp the room as it is one of the busiest weekends of the year. My question is, why state that they would comp the night and then go back on their word? The manager that wrote the note no longer works there. I also noticed a note on the checkin desk to not accept discounts on weekends that Red Sox and Yankees are in town. Why would a place take advantage of people that are willing to travel up to 400 miles just to watch their baseball team?

Visited Baltimore Best Western Hotel & Conference Center on Jun 17 and enjoyed the stay. This was our second stay at the hotel and we were not disappointed either time. The lobby was nicely decorated and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the high speed internet worked fine. We enjoyed the pool which was located on the first floor and close to the elevator. Our free breakfast in the morning was very good with lots of choices and very friendly staff. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the inner harbor which travelled through Fell's Point via Johns Hopkins. It was a nice tour through parts of Balt. we hadn't seen before. Very nice. All in all, for the price, Baltimore Best Western Hotel & Conference Center is great value for a nice hotel.

Came for the first time to Baltimore to celebrate our 35 anniversary. Had a rate in mind and it was met. The hotel is right off the interstate but you never hear any noise. The hotel had great service, friendly staff, a free shuttle to the inner harbor and conference center and probably the best thing of all was the dinner theater on the hotel premises! The meal and musical was fantastic. The dinner theater is a must if you enjoy arts. All the staff went out of their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the girl in charge of the early buffet give new and wonderful meaning to smiling and friendliness! We could all take a lesson from her!
This trip was exactly what we needed and asked for! Thanks Best Western and CC Baltimore!

The desk people were very friendly/ helpful. The breakfast buffet was an unexpected supprise. I had an appointment at John Hopkins. The shuttle driver knew exactly where to go, everything worked out great. I read other reviews of this hotel & almost changed my reservation because of them. My experience at this hotel was better than average.
