I was visiting Baltimore for a conference. The main hotel was sold out so I started looking around and found this little gem. I stayed five days and each day the service was excellent, the breakfast was amazing and the neighborhood was lots of fun to explore. one great bonus is the liqueur store one block away. I went there and picked up a couple bottles of wine and had a wonderful time enjoying them in my room. It was about a ten minute walk back to the convention center, but totally worth it. if I'm ever back in Baltimore, I'll be back at Scarborough fair.

We arrived one minute after normal check in hours and when we ran into the inn keeper, no greeting, no tour, couldn't even be bothered to show us our room. He merely waved us in its general direction when we asked where we were staying. Humorless, grim, unfriendly at breakfast. Barely spoke to us, offered no tourism tips. Our bathroom was down the hall, which we were unaware of. No big deal if robes would have been provided, but they weren't. The toilet in our bathroom was almost unusable - wouldn't drain and was not fixed during the two days we were there. Breakfasts were fair, at best.

The actual property is very nice, our room was nice, location is great. Nearby off-site parking was a plus.

Nice B&B but, because of the service, we would never go back.

My wife and I recently stayed two nights over a weekend. The location could not be beat. It is located right on the edge of a bar/restaurant area, which gives you the convenience of being close to attractions, but without the street noise associated with such areas. Nearby off-site parking is a plus. The Round Hill room was a great choice, roomy w/gas fireplace and an attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The check-in/out process was free of complications, the staff was great and the breakfasts were a step above hotel food and the portions were very filling.

We visit Baltimore a dozen times a year and lived there for a short while. We were very pleased with our stay and are certain to return.

We just came back from 3 days at the Scarborough Fair for a family affair and loved evey minute of our stay there.
We stayed in the Edgar Poe beautifully appointed Suite in mauve and soft purple colours, large room , large Bathroom, large closet, very comfortable.
The owner could not have been nicer and welcoming. We had the run of the place with our relatives, played domino game until late, had snacks and drinks readilly available.
Breakfast was a treat, home baked goods, juice, fruits, pancakes one day and frittata the other day, all delicious if a bit on the high calorie side, but I am sure that I could have order lighter fare in advance. In all, a great stay but it was tricky to adjust the temperature at night (I get uncomfortable if the room is too warm ) the thermostat is in the hall and the last person to go to sleep is the one who gets his or her wish! We adjusted it to our comfort zone but other guests came after us and fixed it to their liking.
That might be something the owner wants to look into in the future.
I would recommand the place in a heartbeat! and we would stay there again if coming back to Baltimore!
I forgot to mention that my companion had ordered champagne and chocolate strawberries that were waiting for us in the room on a lovely tray, chilled and all!
