“Nice place”

The B&B is just round the corner from the train staition which is useful. Bit of a walk to the harbour but I didn't mind, theres also a free bus you can take. Not sure what all the fuss is regarding the "welcome" talk, it was useful and lasted 5/10 minutes. The phone call for breakfast was different but again no big deal. Slightly expensive for what you get but not a bad place to be.

The owners of Aunt Rebecca's Bed N Breakfast are extremely accomdating. They are willing to answer any question you might have, and if they don't know the answer they will look it up. It's a friendly, inviting atmosphere. I would defintely come again.

“Quaint and charming not fussy and pretentious”

We really enjoyed our stay at Aunt Rebecca's. Rebecca and Joe are very knowledgeable about Baltimore and can give you directions to just about anywhere you want to go. It is a little bit of a walk to the inner harbor, but you are near a bus stop for the free city bus, which was very efficient. The B & B itself is one of the famous Baltimore Rowhouses and is very quaint and charming. You feel comfortable and welcome, unlike some B & B 's that feel more like a museum and you can't touch anything or sit on the furniture. We stayed in the Duchess Room and it was neat and tidy and the bathroom was clean. The bed was even more comfortable than our bed at home! Breakfast was a two-course meal starting with fresh fruit and then a savory entree one morning and a sweet entree the next. Both breakfasts were very tasty and filling. It was an all around pleasant and enjoyable experience.

“As perfect as perfect gets.”

Our stay was a combination of business and leisure. We hesitated because the price was SO reasonable; we surmised we would find at least one big "flaw" with the place - not so. We frequently stay at B&Bs and found this to be one of the best overall. From the detailed orientation to the place, to the condition of the surroundings (home in general), to the food (excellent and well presented), to the services and hospitality - we found nothing of which to complain. THANK YOU to Becky and Joe for a comfortable stay and delightful experience.

“A Bit of Home in Baltimore”

I was flabbergasted to read such harsh reviews of Joe, the husband of "Aunt Rebecca!" Sure, he is a little long winded, but I would describe Joe as a very Proud Baltimorian (if that is a word). He gave us GREAT tips on where to go and what to eat, as there are many good restaurants down Charles street. The room was comfy and we slept very well, and the breakfasts were always good. Joe didn't hesitate to also point out areas to avoid (and there are unfortunately one too many in Baltimore as that city has not undergone the renaissance that other larger American cities have done). Joe and Rebecca are WONDERFUL people. Period. If Joe starts talking too much, politely say you're tired and he'll stop. That's all we had to do. And we welcomed his dissertation the next day during a great breakfast and good coffee.
