I attended a conference at the Mt. Washington Conference center and stayed in the rooms. This is a great place for a M-F conference when you want to focus on the conference. Mt. Washington Village is a short walk down hill and the light rale is also. But there are no child oriented activities on site other than a pool table and ping pong. The staff was fabulous - super accomodating to me as well as my family. The rooms are small but clean and have a little deck. Housekeeping stopped me in the hall twice to ask if my room was acceptable. Everyone was super friendly!! I would com back for a conference or short get away!!

This hotel was incredible for the price. If you are looking for a Baltimore hotel that is great value then this one is the right choice. The hotel was a short drive from the center of Baltimore, steps away from the light rail if you don't feel like driving, and right near the highway. It's in a quiet area just outside of Baltimore city. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were great but nothing fancy. Continental breakfast in the morning was adequate. Location was great. Perfect hotel.

My two daughters have been attending Johns Hopkins over the last few years and I've stayed in several places around the Charles Village area including the Hopkins Inn, the Colonnade and a B&B near Peabody. This is by far the best deal I've found. The beds are VERY comfortable, the room very clean and we had a nice flat screen tv with many channels to choose from. A light continental breakfast is served from 7-11 am. No other place I have stayed has included free wifi, parking and breakfast for this price. Not only that, the room was quiet without any city noise and the surrounding grounds are lovely. The village of Mt. Washington, within walking distance, has charming shops and several small, interesting restaurants that serve good food. You will want a car if staying here since you'll be about a 10 minute drive from the Hopkins Homewood campus and a bit further from downtown Baltimore.

I feel very cheated, we saw the picture on the website, and it looks nothing like that. Lets be clear, this is NOT a hotel, it does not have any of the amenities of a hotel whatsoever unless you could a bed and a bathroom (which I think would also be a jail). This is nothing more than a 1970's style dorm room, there are placards that say "no alcoholic beverages", what if I wanted a glass of wine with dinner? This is ridiculous to treat this as you would a hotel, it is apples and oranges, and is IN NO WAY 3.5 stars!!!
