“You'll like this hotel - no doubt.”

The location is awesome: at the end of Fell Street right on the water. This is secluded just enough to give it that quiet peacefulness from the shops and bars which are only a 3 minute walk down Fell Street - and you definitely have lots of places to choose from in Fells. The Henderson's Wharf is the only hotel that I could find in this area that had complimentary parking which is in a lot right next door. When you add in the fact that they greet you with complimentary wine, put out an excellent breakfast spread, have really comfortable beds in nice big rooms and have a friendly staff on hand, you're bound to enjoy your stay.

“Quiet location, wonderful ambience”

Waterfront location on a cobble stone street in walking distance to fine restaurants and not far from the Inner Harbor area -- I look forward to staying at Henderson's Wharf Inn everytime I come to Baltimore. The staff have always been great; they know my name, they know the best restaurants in the area, and there has never been a busy line of people trying to get their attention. The breakfast buffet is a bonus, especially when I have a have a choice to sit alone or to sit at a real diningroom table and share a few moments with people I've never met.

“Recommended - for the right price!”

Due to my need to be proximate to Johns Hopkins Hospital, I was recently (Jan 2012) forced to spend 9 consecutive days in Baltimore (this is not something which I would do willfully) and I lodged at a number of different properties during this protracted stay. Without question, Henderson's was the nicest of these hotels.

The positives include good beds, clean tight sheets (a rarity), plantation shutters on the windows, endless TV channels, respectful staff, a location (+free parking) which is just outside of the normal Baltimore craziness and a limited but workable continental breakfast.

There were a few peculiarities which I couldn't quite understand - cheapo papier toilette (why?), a noisy heating system (banging and clanking) and a couple of pillows on the bed which could have been used on a camping trip and a non-functional iPod alarm clock dock.

Management was totally responsive to my concerns and adjusted my costs accordingly.

Overall, quite good and be sure to step out for a walk on the waterfront.

“Very nice hotel.Very nice value.”

Lovely hotel by the water in a quiet and very charming part of town. Greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and, included a nice continental breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. The room was at street level and very quiet. Tasteful furnishings coupled with a brick wall with shuttered windows added to the rooms' charm. We would definitely make it back again.

“Beautiful hotel on the water”

We stayed at this hotel when we were in Baltimore looking at colleges with our daughter. It is a beautiful, charming hotel right on the harbor and our room was lovely. It's a nice break from big chain hotels. In the morning they had a wonderful breakfast buffet that was served in the lobby and the garden. We were able to walk to restaurants in Fells Point. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Baltimore.
