Upon check-in, we were greeted my a nice gentleman who provided fast service. When I asked where we could park, he moved his truck so we could park there, but another guest grabbed it. He kindly agreed I could stay parked in between a couple of other parked cars since we had a small car.

As for the room, to say the room reeked of smoke would be an understatement. I asked the kindly gentleman if he had other rooms and he said they were full. He apologized for the smoke stating how hard it is to control people's smoking even in a non-smoking room (even though there's a sign on the door stating not to smoke within 10 or 20 feet of the room). I had to use almost a whole can of Lysol I had to try to overcome the foul stench in the room so we could attempt to get to sleep. It would've been nice if the maid would've taken care of that. But, she's probably the one who smoked in the room while "cleaning" it. Extra nice touch with the cigarette butts lining the stairway.

The freezer was dirty and the microwave buzzer sounded every few minutes. In the morning, I thought I could at least have a complimentary cup of coffee (since there was none in the lobby left). Alas, this was not to be. The in-room coffeemaker was unusable because it a) had stagnant water from a previous guest and b) had someone's hair in it. Lovely.

Three positive notes: ice machine is handy, free continental breakfast, soda machine is ultra-cheap at 75 cents per can.

Overall: although I received 10 percent off with a coupon, I would likely not stay here again. On our two week trip involving several different hotels and motels, this was by far the worst night of the trip. However, if you like dirty, stinky, and overpriced motels, you'll love this place. This motel should be donated to the nearest rescue machine for housing for the homeless.

The bed was ROCK hard. There is no A/C and it is too loud to leave the window open. The bathroom was not clean (found hairs in the tub).

Should have stayed at the Super 8!!

Good location with views across the Columbia River and despite is proximity to the road I slept very well. Easy access to the restaurant across the road.
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, definitely worth a return visit.

Unless you are used to sleeping on a freeway, you simply can't sleep here. It is way, way too noisy. And if the traffic isn't enough, the people yelling, loud Tvs at 2am, microwaves beeping and door slamming out to do it. The place is o.k. and bed o.k., but don't kid yourself that you can sleep through all the racket. I had to go to a job interview with very large bags under my eyes and droopy eyelids. Also, if you try to use the wifi, it keeps disconnecting. Spend a few extra $$$--wish I had.
